In the original story, the Hive Fleet was only discovered after it reached the vicinity of Baal. The Blood Progeny were forced into a hasty battle, and their combat readiness was inadequate.

But now, the system's warning had come three months early.

Three months was enough time to accomplish a lot.

He could use those three months to drag Baal out of the tragedy of being caught off guard and left without aid in the original story. He could even try to rewrite history and destroy the Leviathan Hive Fleet before it landed on Baal.

If he failed, the angel's homeworld would be completely lost. Its people would be devoured by the Tyranids, and Baal would be ravaged by them.

The moment Lin En imagined the Tyranids invading the Heroes' Mausoleum and possibly overturning Tyrennius's golden coffin, he wished he could board Leviathan's mothership right now, self-destruct, and take them all down with him.

His sister and Iron Hammer were also on Baal.

If history did not change, they would become part of the local mortal defense forces on Baal that were completely wiped out.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. :)
