Dante had Lin En and the Lamenters served tea after they entered the main hall of the Arx Angelicum and took their seats.
The domed stone hall of Baal was incredibly welcoming. Lin En dropped into a seat, accepted the tea from the attendant, blew on it, and took a sip. He narrowed his eyes in comfort.
Then Dante ordered the attendants to summon the Chapter Masters of the Successor Chapters.

For this Battle of Baal, Dante had summoned a total of twenty-nine Successor Chapters. Including the Lamenters, there were thirty.
More than half of the Chapter Masters had arrived so far.
After receiving the attendants' notice, the Successor Chapter Masters followed the attendants' directions inside.
The Blood Angels' Successor Chapter Masters gathered together in a bright sea of red.
Most of the Blood Angels' Successor Chapters had retained their parent Chapter's red-based colors. Their schemes were mostly red and black, red and white, or red and gold.
The Lamenters, with their yellow primary armor and black-and-white checkered shoulder pads, were incredibly conspicuous amid all that red.
Everyone else was dressed in shades of red. Only they were bright yellow.
They did not know why their colors had been set to yellow in the first place.
In theory, no Blood Angels Successor Chapter should have deviated quite so wildly. Red armor with yellow trim could still be explained, but they had gone straight for a yellow base with black-and-white checks. In Baal's red halls, that color scheme was like placing a yellow pear among a bunch of red apples. It simply did not blend in.
