There was no point thinking about all that now. The Men of Iron had long since been banned.
The Horus Heresy had happened ten thousand years ago. He could only blame himself for arriving a little too late.
Lin En turned to pick a fight with the system. "You garbage system, why did you drop me in so late?!"
System: [...?]
Hello, do you happen to remember who let out an earth-shattering scream after discovering this was Warhammer?
After picking that fight, Lin En ignored it.
It really was too late. Everything was already set in stone.
There was no overturning it now.
Between the Iron Rebellion and Tzeentch, the Imperium had spent ten thousand years barely clinging to life. Technology had long since become taboo. Even if the Men of Iron were vindicated now, the Imperium no longer had the technology to carry on that old legacy.
The Adeptus Mechanicus probably wouldn't allow the Men of Iron to replace them again, either.
Lin En did a quick calculation.
Even if he could clear the Men of Iron's name, if he upgraded Machine Spirit Resonance from its initial count of one hundred...
If he wanted to develop Machine Spirit Resonance enough to recreate the Glory of the Men of Iron, feeding it every other trait he had probably still wouldn't be enough.
He couldn't bear to feed it his other traits, anyway. They were all useful.
He might as well fight on his own.
Blow them up! Blow them up! Blow them up!
Check out my slick moves!
He picked the angles where the explosions would do the most damage.
Suicide Drones, kill, kill, kill!
Wipe out this incoming splinter of the Kraken fleet!
A battlefield could make people forget the passage of time.
One day later.
