Attack on the Necromancer's Mage Tower (2)

From above, Green looked down at the two opposing forces and felt a little disappointed. "Just ordinary Skeleton Soldiers and Zombies, plus a few Evil Spirits and Zombie Knights?"

There were more than three hundred Skeleton Soldiers and Zombies, but their fighting strength was pitiful, even slightly worse than the Kobold Zombies empowered by the Kobold Shaman. The Evil Spirits and Zombie Knights that had rushed out of the Mage Tower were hardly impressive either. There was not a single powerful unit among them. Perhaps the tower's master had taken all his strongest Undead with him when he left.

The battle soon began. There was no charging War Horn, no War Drums to rouse their spirits. The signal was a huge black sphere wrapped in streaks of lightning, falling from the sky like a Meteor. With a boom, it smashed through the Mage Tower's Defense Screen and slammed into the dense ranks of Skeleton Soldiers.

Lightning exploded. The fierce current and impact instantly blasted a crater into the ground and cleared the surrounding area.

Bones lay scattered everywhere, alongside fallen Zombies twitching on the ground. More than half the Skeleton Soldiers and Zombies had been killed on the spot.

At the center of the impact, Rota held her Dual Swords. The black wings on her back stirred lightly as she hovered half a meter above the ground, her cold face utterly expressionless. The next instant, she flashed forward, entering an unstoppable onslaught against the surviving Skeleton Soldiers and Zombies...
