Green was thoroughly pleased after looking over the Clay Golem's attributes. Its combat power surpassed even a Fallen Knight's, and it had the giant-unit bonus to boot. It was a Humanoid Tank. Its three abilities were all impressive, especially Brutal Charge at [lv8]. That was the skill it had used to send Rota flying when it first appeared.
Unfortunately, it was out of action for now. Hauling this behemoth back to the Graveyard was no small undertaking. The Clay Golem stood six meters tall, and even with most of its clay shell hacked away, it still weighed over ten tons. Carrying it by hand was out of the question. In the end, Green had the Kobold Zombies cut logs nearby and place them beneath its body, then brought six Fallen Knights over from the Graveyard to pull from the front. Rolling over the logs, the golem slowly made its way back.
With the undead creatures left to guard it wiped out, the abandoned Mage Tower lay completely open to Green.
Green had not expected much from this Mage Tower, but the Clay Golem that appeared at the end changed his mind. Whatever the Necromancer's overall strength, anyone capable of creating a Clay Golem was an expert in Necromantic Alchemy.
Green very much hoped to find relevant materials or magic books inside the Mage Tower.
Although he had captured the Clay Golem, and its price appeared among the attributes provided by the Graveyard, the Graveyard could not recruit one directly without the corresponding building. So if Green wanted more Clay Golems, he had to acquire the knowledge of Necromantic Alchemy and make them himself.
The inside of the Mage Tower was not the cluttered ruin he had imagined. Though abandoned, it remained tidy. The cleaning spells cast on it had not
