As the Spell Circles spun faster and faster, Green felt his Magic Power draining rapidly. The Death Psychic Energy gathered around the Death Angel also poured into the spinning circles. As his Magic Power ebbed, the circles expanded. When they reached more than six meters across, Green thrust out both hands, and five Spell Circles descended, enveloping the Skeleton Lord's entire frame.

So much Psychic Energy surged through the air that it produced a buzzing roar, like an airplane taking off.

As the Undead Resurrection circles pressed down, the massive skeleton lying on the ground began to shake violently. Wisps of black vapor rose from its thick bones, Magic Runes flickered across them, and a faint light appeared inside its skull, visible through its empty eye sockets. The Skeleton Lord's Soulfire was beginning to rekindle.

But Green was in trouble.

He had raised Undead Resurrection to [lv4], which should have been enough to reignite the Skeleton Lord's Soulfire. What he had overlooked was that he himself was only Early Legendary. By the Graveyard's overall combat rating, Green had barely passed one thousand—roughly ten times short of the threshold for Calamity Rank.

He soon felt his Magic Power running out. Keeping Undead Resurrection active consumed it at a furious rate. At this pace, he could last five minutes at most before he was forced to break the spell.

Green frowned. He had anticipated this problem, but it was worse than he had expected. A five-circle spell consumed ten times as much Magic Power as a spell of four circles or fewer. He now understood why so few Early Legendary Necromancers could use it. The spell was simply too demanding for them.
