Green had never paid much attention to a professor of modest strength, but Arkansas's performance had changed his mind. With only Mid Formal Rank strength, the professor had used alchemical items of his own making to escape the Underground Base and slip away under the noses of three Legendary fighters. Even though the mage had eventually caught up with him, it was still quite a feat.
Green brought him into the Graveyard and sent him to the Skeleton Workshop to work on research. Then he turned his gaze to Sebolutes's corpse.
With only half her body left, she was a horrific, pitiful sight. A beauty no less striking than Cyrabelle had died just like that, but Green felt nothing. He glanced at her and was about to collect her soul when his expression changed. "Huh? What's going on? There's no soul. Could Sebolutes still be alive?"
At that thought, Green immediately went on guard against a feigned death and a surprise attack.
Yet a close inspection of the corpse revealed nothing unusual. It was indeed Sebolutes's body, and she had indeed suffered a fatal injury.
