Green followed Sihar, the butler, into Princess Mulesina's factory. From a distance, he saw a behemoth standing in the middle: a Bone Dragon assembled from massive bones. Its basic shape was complete, with only the finishing details and the head left undone. It looked at least 80% finished.
Beside the enormous Bone Dragon stood four pairs of giant skeletal arms. Like mechanical arms and cranes, they hoisted heavy bones into place. Numerous Lich Mages worked atop the dragon, using magic to join the bones and engraving dense Magic Runes across every surface.
Another area had been partitioned off beside the Bone Dragon. A second floor gave it two levels, both crowded with Skeleton Soldiers at work. They operated machines with mechanical precision, processing enormous bones into raw materials.
Green guessed this was Princess Mulesina's Dragon Bone workshop. The machines the Skeleton Soldiers operated turned the bones of ordinary giant beasts into materials suitable for building Bone Dragons. This was the princess's most valuable invention—and what made mass production of Bone Dragons possible.
But the technology was clearly still immature. Even Princess Mulesina, its inventor, could not produce them on a large scale. So far, she had made only enough Dragon Bone for two large Bone Dragons and two small ones.
Green would be ready for his next upgrade before long. Once the Town Center was upgraded, he should be able to build a Dragon's Lair, allowing the Graveyard to produce Bone Dragons on its own. But he had a feeling it would not be that simple. For all the Graveyard's wonders, his years of experience had taught him that it created nothing from thin air. It still followed the principle of equivalent exchange—or, more precisely, the conservation of matter and energy.
Whether the Graveyard produced Skeleton Soldiers, Zombies, or Liches,
