The Titan Colossus had fallen completely silent. It gave off no Psychic Energy, its eyes had gone dark, and it lay motionless. Only a small portion of its enormous body still bore dimly glowing Magic Runes.
Its stored Psychic Energy was exhausted, its guardian soul had been extinguished, and the explosion had dealt it a devastating blow. The Titan Colossus was not far from being scrap.
Green looked down at the behemoth, his feelings mixed.
The trouble was that this giant was something of a white elephant. The Titan Colossus embodied the finest Alchemy of an entire civilization in the Mist World, and its power was as immense and terrifying as its size. There was no doubt about that. But every gain came with a loss: its enormous size and strength demanded staggering amounts of Psychic Energy. That was why the Human City-State had hidden it away as a last resort.
Now that the Titan Colossus was in Green's hands, he faced the same problem. How was he supposed to power this thing?
Use Divine Power Crystals?
Only if Green had gone mad! Even if he poured every Divine Power Crystal he had into the Titan Colossus, they would not last three or four battles.
So as Green gazed at the behemoth, his initial delight gave way to misgivings.
Whatever he decided, he would haul it back first.
Moving the giant took a considerable effort. Green summoned the Shadow Red Dragon Alshfaro, the Dragon Lich Hill Morleti, and the Bone Dragon Rider Aliotega. Only by combining the strength of all three dragons did they barely manage to lift the Titan Colossus, one leg crippled, and fly it unsteadily back near the Graveyard.
