Unfortunately for him, Green had prepared well in advance. If he was going to take on a Calamity-Rank Transcendent, of course he would guard against a mental scan. The room was about two kilometers from the city government building and had been completely sealed by a Magic Array. Only an antenna remained outside the window, providing a channel for Glasses Woman to use her ability.
The arrangement still produced some Psychic Energy fluctuations, but Becklan City was a melting pot. There were thousands of spies, fugitives, and killers hiding here. The scan would pick up plenty of stronger Psychic Energy signatures. If the Fifth Chief Inquisitor investigated them one by one, the whole city would be in an uproar long before he found this room.
As the Calamity-Rank mental energy swept past, Erha and Glasses Woman stood perfectly still, fear showing in their eyes. Erha had an Abyss creature's instinctive dread of the strong. Glasses Woman, through her ability, could sense the terrifying power of that mental energy even more clearly.
Once the scan passed, Glasses Woman took a deep breath and quickly steadied herself. She glanced at Green, then called, "Move!"
She was not speaking to Green. Through him, Glasses Woman had taken command of the battlefield. For this operation, Green had summoned twenty Dragonman Warriors from the Graveyard.
The Dragonman Warriors, equipped with Dragon-Hunting Rifles, and Erha had all established Soul Links with Glasses Woman, allowing her to command them without delay.
At her command, Erha entered the Spirit World again, leaped out the window, and chased after the mental scan that had just passed.
