The Arm of the Machine God soon joined with the Titan Colossus, but Gaia frowned. "That's strange. The Arm of the Machine God is too weak. What happened?"
Modi suspected it had something to do with the mysterious Six-Winged Angel, but he had no obligation to share that information.
Gaia sounded as though she was half complaining, half reflecting. She did not press him. After all, no one knew exactly what had happened when the gods had besieged the Mechanical God. It was only natural that the Arm of the Machine God had fallen short of expectations. That would not affect the Titan Colossus's ultimate fighting strength. Once assembled, it would gradually recover...
Meanwhile, in Green's Graveyard.
Green was still celebrating the successful development of the Alchemy Computer when he received unwelcome news.
Not long ago, several Ghost sentries stationed along the border had vanished. A patrol from the Retainer Army guarding the Northern Border had also gone missing.
The northern territory Green now occupied had once belonged to the Orc Tribal Alliance ruled by the Silver King.
After taking it, Green had stationed an Undead Legion of one thousand under Penny there, along with fifty thousand Orc troops from the Retainer Army. They continued scouting beyond the border in preparation for further expansion.
Yet before Green could make his next move, the enemy had come to him.
He was not particularly surprised. Emperor Tattle of the Human City-State had escaped, and the Silver King of the Orc Tribal Alliance had fled after his defeat. Neither had been seen since, dead or alive.
With their strength, either of them could regroup almost anywhere. If they called on a few friends and allies, a comeback was entirely possible.
Both the Silver King and Emperor Tattle knew Green's Undead Empire was formidable.
