Even with Divine Power Blessing raising his combat power to Calamity Rank, it could not change his underlying weakness. He could handle weaker enemies, but against someone fierce and powerful, as he had just faced, that weakness was exposed. He simply could not withstand a Calamity Rank enemy's lethal attacks.
A slightly shrewder opponent could spot that weakness, trade blows with him, and quickly take him out.
Green saw the problem but had no good way to solve it or make up for the Death Angel's shortcomings.
