In the early morning, Green stretched with satisfaction. He had gained a great deal of Psychic Energy at Minster Academy the day before, and after a night of deliberation, he had spent it all. Nearly eight thousand Psychic Energy had flowed away like water, bringing enormous changes to the Graveyard.
First, he had built the Abandoned Tower to recruit Ghosts, then upgraded it into the Evil Spirit Tower, which produced Evil Spirits. Those two projects alone had cost five thousand Psychic Energy.
Then he had built the level-one Magic Guild he had dreamed of for so long. That was another two thousand Psychic Energy.
In the blink of an eye, Green had less than a thousand of his eight thousand Psychic Energy left. He recruited the newly spawned undead creatures in the Graveyard and upgraded his existing Ghosts into Evil Spirits, spending another 675 Psychic Energy and dropping his balance below three hundred. But Green had no regrets. He was delighted. His undead forces had grown stronger once again, and the Graveyard's total population had reached 164: ninety-six Gun Skeleton Soldiers, twenty-four Hard-Skin Ghouls, twenty-four Iron-Skinned Zombies, nineteen Evil Spirits including Maxim, and the Six-Headed Snake Woman, a hero unit.
It was also worth mentioning that the Six-Headed Snake Woman had fallen asleep after devouring the Yin Spirit Parasite. More than ten hours later, she had awakened at dawn and, just as Green had expected, advanced from a Tier Three Hero to a level-four hero. Her combat strength had soared by twenty points to seventy-nine, roughly equal to that of an intermediate full-fledged Transcendent.
Green had tried many ways to level up the Six-Headed Snake Woman before, without success. This time, he had stumbled upon the answer. Hero Units in the Graveyard did not level up by fighting monsters or
