"Master! Something major has happened!" Charlos opened with a bombshell, instantly rousing Ryan, who had been uninterested before. Ryan had been bored to death by the auction these past few days. If no good Devil Fruit appeared, he planned to leave tomorrow.

"What happened?" Ryan asked.

"The list of the Shichibukai has been confirmed. I heard the Marines sent people to invite them, but some of them refused!"

"Who refused?"

Ryan was quite concerned about this matter. Since he did not understand how the World Government selected the Shichibukai, he had not made any plans concerning it recently. Instead, he had decided to observe the situation first and see how the current Shichibukai differed from those in the original history.

If there were no differences, he would not have to worry, since Hawkeye, Hancock, Jinbe, and the others were all connected to him. If there were differences, he could make plans accordingly.

Now, however, Charlos had told him that the results were out. Hawkeye had been by his side these past few days because of the coating, so it was certain that history had been changed. The World Government had not chosen to invite Hawkeye to become a Shichibukai.
