One man was enough

(I'm busy Friday, so I'm posting this first. No need to read today; read tomorrow instead. Tomorrow I'll update with one 4,000-character chapter and two 2,000-character chapters, three chapters in total.)

Kizaru spoke to the Five Elders through a tiny communicator.

"It seems we still need your help."

There was no response from the Den Den Mushi.

Somewhat awkwardly, Kizaru added, "Our opponent is a pirate even stronger than Whitebeard."

Fighting Swain, Kizaru had felt even more pressure than he had against Whitebeard.

Saint Saturn watched Swain fight the three Admirals through an Image Transponder Snail. He couldn't claim to know the young man's strength inside out, but he had certainly experienced it firsthand.

A single punch had knocked him flat. Though he had been caught off guard, that still spoke to Swain's formidable strength.

It would take both him and Saint Mars together to contend with three Admirals.

"What a headache. It's always this brat!" Saint Mars said angrily, raising his sword.

Even the meticulously groomed whiskers on either side of his chin bristled with anger.

"The last person to give us this much trouble was that man called Joy Boy."

"The world called him the Sun God... and now there's a Sea God, too," Saint Saturn said slowly.

Both heard the helplessness in the other's words. The world was slipping further and further out of their control.

"We need to join the fight!" Saint Mars said gravely.

But Saint Saturn stopped him. "No."

"I'm afraid Swain has an ambush waiting. Let's watch a little longer."

And so.

He answered Kizaru, "We cannot intervene for now."

"That's rather heartbreaking to hear," Kizaru complained.

Saint Saturn hung up outright, unwilling to listen to his complaints.
