The giant frog could absorb the fog at the edge of the island, and after storing this fog inside its body, it would make people experience illusions when spitting it back out.
This was also something the giant frog had discovered by accident.
"Alright, since I've achieved my goal, we'll be leaving now."
Moyun clapped his hands, signaling the others to gather around him.
What he didn't notice was the trace of scheming that flashed in the giant frog's eyes.
Once these humans returned to that path, it was going to make all those mosquitoes rush over and suck these people dry.
The giant frog held a grudge, especially against that silver-haired boy.
It had helped him so much, yet he kept complaining about it!
"Ribbit!"
"What's wrong, suddenly feeling reluctant to see us go?"
Moyun turned back and said to the giant frog, the mockery on his face making the creature feel exceptionally angry.
"Well, there's nothing to be done about it. Bye-bye, we'll be heading off first."
While speaking, Moyun had already prepared the small black ball.
The three of them vanished right in front of the giant frog with a single vine.
"Ribbit?"
Where were the people? How could there be no one left, where did such large, living people go just a moment ago!
The giant frog let out an angry roar, scaring the surrounding mosquitoes into scattering everywhere.
By this time, the three of them had already appeared in the forest where they had stayed before.
"We're finally out. The feeling of fresh air is just too great."
Moyun stretched lazily and spoke in a lazy tone.
The mosquitoes that had been lingering in the forest earlier were gone now too, probably having returned to their cave beforehand.
Now they just needed to reach the smoke, and even if those mosquitoes gave chase, they probably wouldn't dare to enter.
"We can finally leave this small island. It really wasn't easy."
Moyun still had a piece of dogtail grass clenched between his teeth, looking thoroughly roguish.
As soon as he said this, Hisoka, who had been bouncing around, suddenly didn't look so happy anymore.
Were they going to leave so quickly after he had finally made friends with someone?
"Oh right, Hisoka, do you want to come away with me?"
"What? Can I?"
Hisoka asked in pleasant surprise, thinking for a moment that he had misheard. Was Moyun really going to take him along?
"Of course, why not? You've helped us out quite a bit."
Moyun reached out to pat Hisoka's head, only to find that it was covered in spikes, so he could only gently stroke the thorns on top of his head instead.
It seemed Hisoka wanted to leave this island as well.
Of course Hisoka wanted to leave; there were simply no creatures on this island that could talk.
He and the giant frog had originally met because Hisoka wanted to find a friend on this island.
Only he hadn't made a friend, and had almost ended up being swallowed in one bite.
"But my ability is so weak, will I hold you guys back? I'm not sure, I'm just a child."
Hisoka was also somewhat lost, not knowing whether he still counted as a child now.
"What of it? I think your fruit still has room for development. You surely don't want to look like a vine for the rest of your life, we can study it together."
"Really?"
"Of course, I'm a Devil Fruit user too, it's just that I'm still researching my own ability."
Moyun hadn't decided to help Hisoka improve on a whim; if Hisoka was willing to follow him, he would help him out too.
"Okay! Then I'll go with you guys. My strength is so great, I can protect you!"
"Hisoka is so cool!"
Olvia looked at Hisoka with pampering eyes. He really was still just a little kid, and it seemed this Devil Fruit had completely frozen the child's age.
Of course, slow growth could not be ruled out either.
"Do you know how to get through this fog and take us to the seaside?"
"Of course, you guys just follow closely behind me!"
Hisoka patted his little chest, eagerly walking into the smoke, though fortunately remembering to extend one of his vines to a length that made it convenient for Moyun and the others to hold onto as they went.
With Hisoka leading the way, this time they quickly reached the shore.
"So it was that fast. We spent such a long time walking before, what a waste."
Kuina complained, though fortunately they had made it out now.
"Where is your boat? How come I don't see your ship anywhere?"
Hisoka excitedly looked around from side to side, finding no trace of any boat.
Could these people's ship have been washed away by the seawater? If so, how were they going to go on adventures next?
"Why are you in such a rush? I'll just take you over."
Moyun grabbed the others, and they appeared out of thin air on the ship anchored at sea.
"Didn't we just get here?"
"Who are you guys! When did you get onto this lord's ship!"
As soon as they arrived on deck, the group heard a voice.
Moyun felt a bit strange. When had someone else appeared on his ship? He turned his head to look, only to realize this was none other than their old friend Buggy!
He had expected they would meet in Loguetown, never imagining they would run into each other on their own ship.
"Buggy, you're actually here. This really surprises me."
"Who are you?"
Buggy narrowed his eyes, finding this person more familiar the more he looked at him.
Wait a minute, wasn't this the person from beside the Straw Hat Boy who had sent him flying before? Why would he appear here, could he be here specifically to capture him!
"Why did you appear here? Is the Straw Hat Boy here too?"
Buggy remembered that the Straw Hat Boy's ship clearly wasn't this one.
"We aren't people from Luffy's ship, and we naturally have business to attend to coming here. But as for you, this is my ship, how did you end up here?"
"Hahaha, I was just passing by."
Buggy said somewhat awkwardly. He had been blasted onto that island by Luffy, and it had taken a tremendous amount of effort for him to finally escape.
He had built a small raft on that island, and before he had even paddled a few steps away, he had spotted this large ship.
Buggy had assumed everyone on this ship was dead, which was why he had climbed aboard.
"Passing by? We're heading to Loguetown shortly. Are you going there too?"
Moyun remembered that Buggy had quite a significant role in Loguetown. If Dragon hadn't appeared, Buggy might have even ended up killing the future Pirate King.
His own trip there was also to see that execution platform, and then there was Dragon, the leader of the world's revolutionary army!
"Hahaha, if it's convenient, could you take me along?"
Buggy smiled ingratiatingly. He still knew he couldn't beat these people right now, so enduring it for the time being was no big deal to him at all.
Once he rendezvoused with his subordinates, he would wipe these people out completely!
This kid looked quite easy to talk to, so he definitely wouldn't refuse this lord's request.
"Oh, I won't."
