"What did you say?"
Buggy thought he had misheard him. The smile on his face stiffened. Surely this brat hadn't actually refused him?
"I said no."
Moyun patiently repeated himself to Buggy.
"What! You actually refused Captain Buggy's request!"
Buggy roared, so furious that smoke seemed about to rise from the top of his head.
What gives this brat the right to refuse him!
Moyun was only teasing Buggy, after all. Buggy looked absolutely hilarious right now.
Sometimes, Moyun admired Buggy, too. Men who could bend and stretch as much as him were truly rare.
"What are you laughing at! If you don't take me with you, the moment my ship finds us, it'll be the day of your deaths!"
"Is that so? Now that you mention it, I'm actually a little frightened. In that case, you can stay on the ship."
Moyun finished speaking in an utterly even tone. Not the slightest trace of fear could be seen in his expression.
Buggy, however, genuinely believed that Moyun was afraid.
"Consider yourself lucky that you have some sense. Do you want to become my underling?"
"No. Be quiet for a while, or I'll toss you overboard later."
Buggy was simply too noisy, even louder than the child Hisoka.
Moyun still wanted to cultivate for a while, so he temporarily left Buggy on the deck.
Although Kuina and Olvia didn't know why Moyun had decided to keep this sinister pirate around, Moyun surely had his own reasons.
So they chose not to interfere.
Olvia remembered that her notes only recorded matters concerning the East Blue. Most of the Poneglyphs were in the Grand Line, and they were now preparing to head for Loguetown.
That was the place where everything began and ended.
"Brat, I'll kill you sooner or later!"
Buggy stared viciously at Moyun's departing back, silently calculating when it would be best to make his move.
Hisoka, curled up in the corner, said nothing. He stared at Buggy with a pair of round, wide eyes.
This big-nosed man is really strange.
Because Hisoka had curled himself into a ball, Buggy hadn't noticed him.
Kuina was practicing her swordsmanship on the deck. Earlier, Moyun had told her that Loguetown had a sword shop, and there seemed to be a sword inside that suited her quite well.
Kuina now desperately wanted to improve her abilities.
Having a good sword could greatly enhance a swordsman's strength.
After night fell, a furtive figure felt his way into Moyun's room.
"Hehehe, you rotten brat. Once I get rid of you, this ship will be mine!"
Buggy let out a sinister laugh. As the user of the Chop-Chop Fruit, he could freely detach his own hand.
Standing not far from Moyun, he controlled his hand, which was holding a Dagger, and sent it flying toward Moyun.
"Hisoka!"
"I'm coming!"
Just as Buggy was about to strike, Moyun, who should have been fast asleep, suddenly opened his eyes. Seeing the Dagger already closing in on him, he shouted.
He had known Buggy wouldn't let the matter go.
But he couldn't simply throw Buggy overboard, or the plot would become completely disordered.
"What are you trying to do? You want to kill me?"
By then, Hisoka had already restrained Buggy, leaving him completely unable to move.
"No, no, I just came up to see whether you had tucked yourself in properly."
Buggy struggled desperately a few times. When he realized he couldn't break free, he stopped resisting and began ingratiating himself with Moyun.
A real man must know when to yield. As long as I survive, what does face matter?
"Using a Dagger to tuck me in? This is the first time I've ever heard of such a thing."
Moyun glanced at the Dagger that had been knocked to the ground and curled his lip disdainfully.
The vines wrapped around Buggy grew tighter and tighter, making him howl in pain.
"Easy, easy! I really didn't mean any harm."
Buggy spoke aggrievedly.
Damn it, what kind of creature is this vine? How can it keep tightening the more it wraps around me? How did I fail to notice it at first?
"Hisoka, loosen it a little."
At Moyun's words, the vines wrapped around Buggy indeed loosened considerably.
Buggy grinned. Taking advantage of the opportunity, he hurriedly split his body apart. That way, the vines could no longer keep him restrained.
Chop-Chop: Emergency Escape!
"This is the sea. Where do you think you can run?"
Moyun rubbed his forehead helplessly. With Buggy's intelligence, he could somehow still have gathered so many underlings. Becoming a pirate truly had no threshold at all.
"So what? I'll just float in the air like this. None of you can catch me! Hahahaha!"
Buggy burst into laughter. As long as he kept floating above the ship, there shouldn't be any problem.
Without Hisoka, Moyun might really have had no way to deal with Buggy.
"Hisoka, catch him! I believe you can do it!"
Hearing that someone trusted him so much, Hisoka's entire body filled with energy.
Five or six vines stretched out from Hisoka's sides, reaching straight toward Buggy, who was flying through the sky.
"What the hell are these things? How can they keep wrapping around me?"
Buggy tried to dodge the vines, but they seemed to possess minds of their own and lunged straight for his limbs.
The first thing they caught was Buggy's left hand, followed by his left leg.
But Buggy had split his body into far too many pieces. Hisoka simply didn't have enough vines to extend and catch them all.
"How can he turn himself into so many pieces? I'll never finish catching him!"
"It's fine. This is enough."
Moyun looked up at Buggy, and a plan suddenly formed in his mind.
"Hisoka, grab one of his feet and pull it down."
"Okay!"
Hisoka's vines slowly retracted, bringing back one of Buggy's hands and one of his feet.
"Pull off his shoe. Hisoka, use your vines to tickle the sole of his foot."
Moyun gave a wicked grin. He refused to believe Buggy could keep holding out after that.
Buggy, floating in the sky, began to panic. What are they planning to do with my foot?
"Don't touch my foot!"
"Then come down. Otherwise, enjoy the happiness of reaching the skies."
Moyun waited for quite a while, but Buggy still didn't come down. So he gave a signal to Hisoka, who had long been raring to go.
"What are you doing! Hahahahaha! Let go of my foot!"
Buggy had thought of every possible method, but he had never imagined that Moyun would resort to such a despicable trick—tickling the sole of his foot!
"Are you coming down or not? If you don't, we'll have to continue."
"Hahaha! Stop tickling me! I'll come down, all right!"
Buggy laughed until tears streamed from his eyes.
Before you continue
