"Don't push people too far!"
"Pushing people too far? How could those words come out of your mouth?"
You were clearly the one who launched a sneak attack, weren't you?
Moyun silently rolled his eyes at Buggy. It seemed he would need to keep more Seastone handcuffs on the ship from now on.
At some point, he would have to sneak into the Marines and steal a few.
Otherwise, if annoying people like Buggy kept popping up, how was he supposed to live?
To stop Buggy from continuing to harass him, Moyun decided to confiscate Buggy's feet.
"What are you doing?"
"Sleeping. You may not need sleep, but someone does."
"Then why are you holding my feet?"
Buggy watched helplessly as his feet were bound by vines from that strange creature.
"Otherwise, you'll disturb people's sleep again. Don't make any rash moves, or I'll throw your feet into the sea and make you lose a foot for good."
Moyun yawned as he spoke. That should keep Buggy quiet for a while, right?
Tomorrow, he still had to help Hisoka figure out how to take human form properly.
Logically speaking, someone who had eaten the Vine-Vine Fruit should be able to assume a human appearance. Yet Hisoka had become a vine outright; something must have gone wrong at the very beginning.
"Give me back my feet. I swear I won't try to kill you again."
"So you admit that you were trying to kill me just now?"
"I only misspoke."
Buggy gave an awkward laugh. How had he blurted out his true thoughts?
But no matter what he said, Moyun definitely could not return his feet. He also needed to lock the room door more securely.
"Give me back my feet!"
The sky gradually brightened. Buggy sat on the deck with a haggard face. He had been worried all night that Moyun might suddenly throw his feet somewhere, so he had not dared to sleep at all.
"That damned silver-haired brat is even more hateful than that brat called Luffy!"
Even now, Buggy was still talking tough.
"You're awfully energetic so early in the morning."
Moyun walked out of his room looking refreshed. He slowly stretched, gazing at the sunrise ahead with a contented expression.
It would have been even better without Buggy constantly babbling.
"Hurry up and give me back my feet! Once we arrive, I'll definitely kill you! How dare you treat the great Captain Buggy like this!"
"Quiet down already. You're so noisy."
Moyun dearly wished he could stuff the feet into Buggy's mouth.
The others gradually got up as well. Hisoka took small steps over to Moyun's side and casually raised Buggy's feet with a vine.
"Should I give this back to him?"
"Mm, give it to him. If we don't, he'll nag me to death."
Moyun nodded slightly and glanced at Buggy. He still found it strange—how had someone like Buggy become a subordinate of the Pirate King?
Could the Pirate King have misjudged someone too?
He had heard that Buggy the Star Clown and Red-Haired Shanks had a pretty good relationship. Why was the gap between people so enormous?
"What kind of look is that? Do you think I'm just too handsome, or do you want to apologize for what you did?"
Buggy grinned smugly. He could consider forgiving Moyun.
Before Buggy could finish speaking, Moyun turned and left, taking little Hisoka with him.
"Hisoka, I'll help you take human form today, but the specifics will still depend on you."
"Mm, I understand."
During all those years on Sea Root Island, Hisoka had constantly tried to cultivate himself, but he could never get it right. In the end, he had given up. As long as he did not run around on that island, he would not be in danger anyway.
Now that he was going to adventure at sea, he needed to work hard to improve himself.
Hisoka often saw Kuina practicing alone on the deck, while Moyun also cultivated in his room.
"Have you tried turning into a human before?"
Hisoka's Devil Fruit was of the plant type, and Moyun did not really understand the specifics of how to take human form.
Still, he could offer some advice.
"Yes, but I still looked like a vine."
"Try it again. Let me see."
Moyun rubbed his chin and quietly waited for Hisoka to transform.
Hisoka closed his eyes and felt the changes in his body.
The green bundle of vines gradually stretched out, forming the body of a human boy, though his limbs were still vines.
"Ah! I actually succeeded!"
Hisoka cried out in delight. Looking down at his body, he was already very satisfied with this form, even though his hands and feet were still vines.
"Not enough. Your head is still a bundle made of vines, and your limbs are vines too. You should look like a normal human."
Just like those with Logia-type Devil Fruits, their limbs only changed when they used their abilities.
"Ah? This still isn't enough?"
"Try to see if you can transform further. You should be able to become a normal human."
Hisoka nodded as if he understood, then closed his eyes again. This time, after waiting for a long while, nothing changed.
"Hisoka? Hisoka?"
"Huh? What, what? Have I finally turned into a human?"
Since the process was taking so long, Hisoka had actually fallen asleep.
"You little kid, how did you fall asleep? I'm teaching you how to master your Devil Fruit ability!"
Moyun was practically furious. At such a serious moment, Hisoka had actually managed to fall asleep.
His expression darkened instantly. Hisoka was frightened by Moyun, and his pitch-black eyes darted around as he did not dare meet Moyun's gaze.
"Try again."
This time, Hisoka did not dare slack off in the slightest. His limbs finally began changing again, slowly becoming human limbs, and he finally gained a face.
"Oh my god, I really succeeded!"
Hisoka excitedly touched his face and ran wildly around the ship in delight.
"What happened? Why are you so happy?"
The moment Olvia stepped outside, she saw a small figure flash past her.
"It's Hisoka. He finally took on the appearance of a normal human."
"He transformed that quickly?"
Moyun nodded helplessly. In truth, Hisoka had been slow. Logically speaking, after eating a Devil Fruit, the first thing one should master was changing forms.
But since Hisoka had met him, Moyun would make sure to properly supervise Hisoka's training.
On the Grand Line, strength was the only basis for having a say.
Sitting on the deck, Buggy watched the child running everywhere and finally realized that the one who had trapped him last night had been a child who ate a Devil Fruit!
This was far too embarrassing. No one could ever find out about this!
"Hisoka, don't celebrate too early. You still have a lot to learn, but you can only explore those things slowly on your own. Every Devil Fruit is unique."
Moyun frowned as he cautioned him.
As for whether they were truly unique, he was not entirely sure.
