A Bit of Trouble

After the call ended, crocodiles thrashed in the swamp. Wet-Hair Caribou sprang out of the mire, a mass of mud swelling in his belly. With a splat, he spat out a battered Klibu.

"Bastard! You nearly killed my dear little brother Klibu!" Caribou lunged at Saint Sanming, punched him in the face, then kicked him in the stomach.

Saint Sanming fell to the ground. He looked at the brothers. This was getting troublesome.

Wet-Hair Caribou, that disgusting bastard, was a user of a Logia Devil Fruit, the Swamp-Swamp Fruit. Cairns might not be able to beat him in a fight, and Jackal Gaca and Falcon Pell certainly couldn't. Then there were Robin and Baroque, whose abilities he knew nothing about. Even Candle Man Galdino would be difficult to handle.

Robin had clearly been persuaded by the inside information Baroque had revealed about CP0. She now knew CP0 had set a trap, while Baroque knew she could decipher Poneglyphs. Their interests aligned: Robin needed their protection and wanted to see the Poneglyphs. Baroque knew the Nefertari Family guarded the whereabouts of Pluton, and that the secret was written on a Poneglyph tablet in an underground palace built by the royal family.

Another ruin lay hidden in the desert, and it held a Poneglyph too. Robin and Baroque must have gone out earlier to look for it.

"You bastard!" Caribou and Klibu pummeled and kicked Saint Sanming. "Hahaha! Think being a Celestial Dragon makes you special? We don't give a damn about the Marines or the Celestial Dragons!"

Saint Sanming gritted his teeth and endured it. Those damned bastards.

"Well then, farewell." Baroque gripped Vivi by the head. "I never intended to let either you, Saint Sanming, or Princess Vivi live. Deadwood and those brats who failed and got caught will die
