When first observed by Silver Wolf, he maintains a position from which he can watch the party’s front, flanks, and rear simultaneously, prioritizing mud, grass, shadows, and monster traces over the rainforest scenery. 2

The squad’s initial expedition into the Elf Tribe is partly intended to acquire a Moonshade Vine Heart, a material Sunken Crow requires for a Shadowwalker breakthrough. He notes that the breakthrough has a failure rate, while his companions promise to support repeated attempts if necessary. 3 4

After the Elven elder agrees to the trade, the party accepts the task of clearing the Thunder Spider Matriarch from the Moonshadow Vine area. Sunken Crow damages the Matriarch’s lightning sac and helps finish it through coordinated attacks on its weak points. 5 6

World Tree Branch Shadow Crisis

Inside the corrupted World Tree, Sunken Crow suspects that the weeping cocoon may be bait and precisely severs only the roots that Silver Wolf marks as pollution sources. 9

When the World Tree’s roots disable Shadowstep and trap the party, he cuts Silver Wolf’s marked control lines, locates the concealed route, and opens their temporary escape passage. 10
