Qian Renxue operated in the Heaven Dou Empire under the identity of Xue Qinghe, initially posing as its Second Prince. Her disguise let her move within the imperial family while concealing her connection to Spirit Hall; even the Notting City Spirit Hall bishop was not qualified to know who she truly was 20.

While travelling to obtain a Soul Ring, Xue Qinghe detoured to Notting City after hearing reports of Luo Fan's talent. She approached him at a restaurant, initially intending to befriend and recruit him, but their conversation quickly became genuinely warm. They began calling one another brothers, and she invited him to join her Star Dou Forest expedition under the protection of Snake Lance Douluo and Pufferfish Douluo 21.

During the journey and soul-hunting expedition, Xue Qinghe became increasingly invested in Luo Fan's well-being. She worried about the physical backlash of his clone-assisted cultivation, offered to delay the expedition for him, guarded him while he absorbed his second ring, and was moved when he voluntarily offered to teach her his wall-climbing and water-walking technique 22 26 28. Her attachment became obvious when she abandoned her insistence on resting after learning Luo Fan had safely returned from Star Dou Forest 33.

Her initial account of her cultivation was deliberately misleading. Although she told Luo Fan that she was seeking her third Soul Ring, she was actually hunting her fourth. She explicitly treated these gifts as her own compensation rather than Spirit Hall's, strengthening Luo Fan's personal loyalty to her 34. She later exchanged a 20,000-year Instant Flash Right-Leg Soul Bone for his salt-refining method, recognizing both its economic value and Luo Fan's need for greater burst mobility 41.

The resulting salt business helped establish her political standing. Lower salt prices won popular support, while cooperation with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect gave her an influential partner. Her imperial succession campaign became more overt after the Eldest Prince's death. When the Third Prince spread accusations linking her to that death, Luo Fan offered his Transformation Technique and assassination skills to assist her. Together, they first ruined the Third Prince's reputation through impersonation, then arranged his death as an apparent suicide 69 70 73. With her principal rivals removed, Xue Qinghe was formally invested as Crown Prince of the Heaven Dou Empire 74.

Following her investiture, she tested Luo Fan's views on Spirit Hall and his loyalty to her before revealing the truth. She dismissed servants from the Crown Prince's Residence, appeared before him in her true form, and introduced herself as Qian Renxue, granddaughter of Qian Daoliu and daughter of the former Pope Qian Xunji 75 76. She later began considering Yu Xiaogang a potential tool for influencing Bibi Dong and travelled toward Notting City with Luo Fan under the public pretext of hunting a Soul Ring 78 80.

At Notting Academy, Xue Qinghe offered Yu Xiaogang access to the imperial library and support in publishing his theories. She also offered to arrange Tang San's admission to Heaven Dou Royal Academy, securing both men's agreement to relocate to Heaven Dou City. The invitation served her broader aim of keeping Yu Xiaogang within reach as potential leverage over Bibi Dong and Tang San 80 81.

During the same journey, Qian Renxue wanted to spend the night at Luo Fan's home in Holy Soul Village. Luo Fan warned her that Tang Hao lived there and revealed that Tang San was his son and possessed twin Martial Souls. She initially regarded Tang Hao as her father's killer and rejected Luo Fan's claim that Qian Xunji had not died at his hands 81 82. For her sixth Soul Ring, Qian Renxue selected a roughly 70,000-year-old Holy Light Unicorn. The Soft Bone Rabbit Tribe located it, and Snake Lance Douluo and Pufferfish Douluo subdued it before she delivered the finishing blow. While she began absorbing its black ring under their and Luo Fan's protection, a mysterious cloaked figure approached despite her guardians' warnings 92.

Following Luo Fan's clash with Liu Erlong, Emperor Xue Ye praised his potential and asked Xue Qinghe to bring him to the palace. Luo Fan subsequently identified Tang San to Xue Qinghe and Yu Xiaogang as a suspected Outworld Demon. She initially considered the possibility that Luo Fan was merely framing Tang San, but his demonstration of the Mother-Child Soul-Chasing Life-Taking Orbs made her reconsider: their destructive mechanism operated without the Soul Power fluctuations expected of Soul Tools 112 113. After discussing a response with Luo Fan, she publicly announced the Outworld Demon threat as Crown Prince Xue Qinghe and requested Spirit Hall's assistance. Spirit Hall verified the news and issued its own declaration, spreading the warning throughout the continent 116.

Later, Snake Lance Douluo informed her that Qian Daoliu had arrived in Heaven Dou City. She hurried to meet him, dropped the Xue Qinghe disguise, and greeted her grandfather with visible delight 141.

As Xue Qinghe, she appears as a handsome, noble-looking youth around twelve or thirteen years old, befitting her position as a Heaven Dou prince 20.

In her true form, Qian Renxue is a golden-haired young woman described as possessing strikingly beautiful features. She formally appears before Luo Fan in women's clothing after arranging for privacy at the Crown Prince's Residence 76.

She accepts the use of assassination, reputational destruction, and personal leverage against rivals such as the Third Prince and Yu Xiaogang 69 70 80. However, she is not indiscriminately violent: after Zhao Wuji insulted her, she ordered Pufferfish Douluo to punish him severely but specifically forbade killing him 25.

Around Luo Fan, her guarded public persona weakens considerably. She laughs freely at his jokes, worries over his cultivation and safety, and values the sincerity with which he shares techniques and supports her ambitions 22 28 33. She is particularly pleased when others praise Luo Fan, viewing his achievements with personal pride 74.
