Yuanshi: Could the Law Dao Compare to the Three Corpses Severing Method Taught by Our Master?

"Yet you insisted on having your own way and went to Yingzhou Island to hear that Heaven-Earth Daoist lecture. Third Brother, do you know what sort of opportunity you missed?"

Yuanshi sneered from the side and echoed him.

"Do you know that Big Brother and I have already been accepted by Dao Ancestor Hongjun as his direct disciples? Big Brother has calculated that the future Sage Seats lie here!"

"You did not go this time, and Dao Ancestor Hongjun did not ask about you again. Do you know that what you missed was not merely the Primordial Unity Dao personally taught by the Dao Ancestor, but the immense karmic opportunity of becoming a Sage's direct disciple and obtaining a future Sage Seat?"

Upon hearing them, Tongtian's expression remained calm. He merely raised his brows slightly, and no ripples arose in his heart.

"Big Brother, Second Brother, you exaggerate."

"Though I did not hear the Primordial Unity Dao from Dao Ancestor Hongjun himself, I heard my master's Primordial Unity Dao."

Yuanshi subconsciously frowned. That Daoist also knew the Primordial Unity Dao? Well, that made sense. Since he had reached the Quasi-Saint realm mentioned by their master, he naturally understood some of it.

But his realm was inferior to their master's, so his explanation of the Primordial Unity Dao naturally could not compare to their master's...

As soon as this thought arose, Yuanshi belatedly realized something.

Wait, what had Third Brother called that Daoist? Master?

In this era, such a form of address could not be used casually. Even after hearing someone's lecture, one could at most call them Teacher. How could one call them Master?

Their Third Brother had refused to take Hongjun, a born Sage who bore the Sage Seats, as his master, only to seek out that Wild Heaven-Earth Daoist as his master?

It was simply beyond foolish!

Laozi looked regretful as he sighed at his Third Brother.

"Third Brother, this is... sigh!"

Yuanshi snorted coldly.

"If Third Brother wishes to cast aside his own chance at Sagehood, there is no need for us to stop him."

As he spoke, Yuanshi abruptly changed his tone and laughed lightly.

"You said that your master also explained the Quasi-Saint path? I wonder what Quasi-Saint path he taught?"

"Tell us about it. Let us discuss the Dao together and properly verify this Primordial Unity Dao."

Yet his Third Brother now claimed to have understood only one or two parts in ten? The Primordial Unity Dao was clearly simple and easy to understand, but he had comprehended so little. It was clear that Wild Heaven-Earth Daoist himself did not understand much!

"No matter. Just explain it!"

Tongtian nodded. After arranging his thoughts slightly, he began recounting the Primordial Unity Dao Li Yi had explained.

For this lecture, in order to make it easier for the living beings of the Primordial World to understand, Li Yi had not explained the Heaven and Earth Law he was naturally adept at, nor had he discussed the Yin-Yang Law, the Law of Slaughter, or the Law of Space that he had comprehended.

Instead, he explained the most basic and easily understood Four Great Elements Dao.

These four types of laws were among the simplest source Law Dao. Their difficulty was far inferior to the Heaven and Earth Law and the Yin-Yang Law, making them comparatively easy to understand.

Of course, within the Primordial Unity Dao, laws could transform into one another. For instance, if Tongtian became a Quasi-Saint through these four foundational laws, he could later comprehend and specialize in other laws as well.

Listening to Tongtian explain the Earth-Wind-Water-Fire Laws Dao, Laozi and Yuanshi were instantly dumbfounded.

Wasn't this supposed to be the Primordial Unity Dao? What was this Earth-Wind-Water-Fire Laws nonsense? Why was it different from the Three Corpses Severing Method their master had taught?
