Background / History
Nuwa conceived of a race born with Dao Bodies and molded figures from Nine Heavens Resting Soil and Three Lights Divine Water. The Innate Gourd Vine gave the figures vitality, but they came to life only after she added her Essence Blood at Li Yi’s suggestion. Before they fully awakened, Li Yi divided a drop of his own Chaos Demon God Essence Blood among them, becoming their Father God alongside Nuwa as Mother God 72 73 74 75.
Li Yi and Nuwa then established the Human Dao through a Great Dao Oath. Its principles called for humanity to govern its own fortune and preserve its civilization, with its Sovereigns guiding rather than enslaving it. The first humans awakened at the Heavenly Immortal realm, with the potential to reach Great Firmament Golden Immortal; Li Yi gave them spirit treasures 75.
Li Yi settled the newborn race near Buzhou Mountain and let it develop without direct protection that might provoke the Wu and Yao Tribes. His Yin-Yang avatar entered human society as Huang, teaching fire-making, farming, animal husbandry, writing, construction, and rites. After three assemblies, humanity numbered several hundred million and had established large and small tribes 79 81 82.
Huang and ten tribal leaders founded the Human Divine Dynasty. The tribes pledged allegiance to him as Human Emperor, and the Great Dao recognized his rule. Laozi’s competing attempt to found a Human Sect received Heavenly Dao support but little support from humans or the Human Dao Will 83 84 85.
