Background

Dragon Nation’s National Destiny Trial entrants select other worlds for training; their individual rankings determine national Fortune and Heavenly Dao blessings, with only the top ten nations receiving rewards. Before the current Centennial Trial, Dragon Nation had failed to reach the top ten for nine consecutive trials, leaving its national destiny in decline. 1

The nation had relied heavily on the Soul Land World and the Zhao Clan’s inherited familiarity with it. Zhao Xuan was expected to restore Dragon Nation’s standing, but his first-day Soul Ancestor result placed only eleventh, extending the nation’s reward drought to ten trials in the eyes of its citizens. 2 21 22

Li Yi’s first-place result in the unknown Primordial World reversed the nation’s fortunes. His success restored public confidence, exposed Wang Gang’s earlier dismissal of the Primordial World as misguided, and made Dragon Nation a central target of international hostility. 24

Li Yi’s first-place ranking transformed him into Dragon Nation’s national hero. The resulting golden light granted a Fortune increase far beyond the second-place reward and renewed hope after a decade without National Destiny blessings. 24

Global Weapon-Ranking Dominance

Other nations expected their inherited divine artifacts—particularly Eagle Sauce Nation’s Seraphim and Cherubim Scepters—to dominate the weapon ranking. Instead, Li Yi’s mid-grade, high-grade, supreme-grade, and Innate Supreme Treasures filled the ranking list. 38 39 40 41

Target of an International Coalition

Li Yi’s dominance convinced rival nations that they could not compete normally. Eagle Sauce Nation organized a coalition including Cherry Blossom Nation, Kimchi Nation, Asan Nation, and Gaul Nation to activate the five-star Re-Rank Training Card, which can redeploy contestants into another training world while preserving their strength, talents, and weapons. 50

Ten nations pooled national destiny to open a training passage into the Primordial World, intending to send their strongest contestants there and challenge Dragon Nation’s advantage directly. 48 50
