Li Yi arranged for Blue Star humans to help develop technology among the Primordial World’s Human Race. Meanwhile, Hongjun, concealed in Laozi’s body, manipulated Di Jun and Eastern Emperor Taiyi into flying toward Buzhou Mountain, hoping its collapse would let him reclaim Heavenly Dao Authority.

• Li Yi ordered veteran ministers to give the Dragon Nation people ordinary human treatment and have them share their technological knowledge.
• A hidden voice preyed on Di Jun’s despair over the Demon Court’s ruin and urged him to die in a catastrophe that would shake heaven and earth.
• The voice convinced Di Jun that destroying Buzhou Mountain would take his enemies and the Human Race down with him, and Di Jun flew toward the mountain.
• Eastern Emperor Taiyi, also overcome by Calamity Qi and bewitched by the hidden voice, charged toward Buzhou Mountain.
• The hidden figure appeared as Laozi, revealed himself to be Hongjun’s surviving incarnation, and hoped to exploit the coming disaster to regain control of the Heavenly Dao.

Hongjun manipulated Di Jun and Taiyi into detonating themselves, breaking Buzhou Mountain and destabilizing the Primordial World. As Hongjun failed to mend the heavens with the Sky-Mending Stone, Li Yi prepared to entrust the repair to someone who needed its merit.

• Hongjun used Laozi's body to make Di Jun and Taiyi detonate themselves against Buzhou Mountain, causing the mountain to break and the Thirty-Three Heavens to crack.
• Heavenly River weak water and nine heavens astral wind poured into the Primordial World, while Li Yi temporarily sealed the damage and decided not to ask Nuwa to mend the heavens.
• Hongjun began repairing the cracks with a Sky-Mending Stone, hoping to earn Great Dao merit and regain his position as Heavenly Dao Representative.
• The repairs failed, the cracks widened, and the Sky-Mending Stone fell as the destructive torrents resumed pouring into the Primordial World.

Li Yi realized Hongjun could not mend the shattered Thirty-Three Heavens without Five-Colored Stones refined in the Cosmos Cauldron, so he recruited Yuanfeng to help. As Hongjun's attempts failed, a figure appeared and began patching the heavens with five-colored spirit liquid.

• Li Yi visited Yuanfeng at the Phoenix Clan's ancestral land and offered her merit that might dissolve the clan's vow of confinement.
• Yuanfeng agreed to help, and Li Yi used the Cosmos Cauldron to teach her how to refine Five-Colored Stones into spirit liquid.
• Tongtian watched the disguised Hongjun attempt to mend the heavens, while Yuanshi wondered whether Hongjun's return meant their teacher was still alive.
• Hongjun repeatedly failed to repair the Thirty-Three Heavens and realized something essential was missing.
• A figure suddenly appeared and began sealing the fissure with five-colored spirit liquid.

Yuanfeng used spiritual liquid from the Cosmos Cauldron to mend the Thirty-Three Heavens, while Yuanling planted Li Yi’s seed and raised Tongtian Jianmu to stabilize the world. Hongjun abandoned his failed plan to take the Black Tortoise’s limbs after Jianmu stabilized the heavens.

• Yuanfeng appeared with the Cosmos Cauldron and mended the cracks in the Thirty-Three Heavens with five-colored, Hundun-colored spiritual liquid.
• Hongjun recognized Li Yi’s influence and left to seek the Black Tortoise, intending to cut off its four feet to stabilize the world.
• Yuanling planted Li Yi’s seed below Buzhou Mountain and poured spiritual liquid over it, causing Tongtian Jianmu to grow rapidly.
• Tongtian Jianmu rose into the sky and stabilized the space around the Thirty-Three Heavens.
• Hongjun found the Black Tortoise in the East Sea but saw Jianmu stabilize the heavens and turned livid.

Yuanfeng used the Great Dao merit to erase most of the Phoenix Clan’s karmic retribution, freeing them from their oath, while Yuanling absorbed her merit and became a Sage. Li Yi then confronted Hongjun, who was possessing Taiqing Laozi, and exposed that he had refined Laozi into an incarnation.

• Yuanfeng poured her Great Dao merit into the Phoenix Clan’s fortune, removing 90% of its karmic retribution and dissolving the oath that bound the clan to Immortal Mountain.
• The Phoenix Clan members left Immortal Mountain, and their elders credited the Dao Ancestor’s plans for restoring their freedom.
• Yuanling absorbed her merit and broke through from Quasi-Saint cultivation to become a great Dao Sage.
• Tongtian urged the disguised Hongjun to abandon his obsession with the Heavenly Dao and join the Human Dao, while Yuanshi argued that they should seek to inherit their former master’s position.
• Tongtian asked Li Yi to give his eldest brother a chance and offered to share responsibility for the scheme that led Di Jun and Taiyi to break Buzhou Mountain.
• Li Yi addressed Hongjun by name and accused him of refining Taiqing Laozi, his eldest disciple, into an incarnation.

Li Yi used the Law of Time to reveal that Hongjun had possessed Taiqing Laozi and taken his place as an incarnation. The truth stunned the watching Great Supernatural Beings, while Tongtian and Yuanshi saw the past unfold.

• Li Yi claimed that Taiqing was Hongjun's incarnation, but Taiqing denied it and Yuanshi defended him.
• Li Yi used his Magic Power to reveal Taiqing's past in a reversed river of time.
• The scene showed Hongjun inciting Di Jun and Taiyi to crash into Buzhou Mountain for Great Dao Merit.
• Li Yi traced the events back to the Purple Cloud Palace, where Hongjun possessed Taiqing after he became a Sage.
• Hongjun expelled Taiqing's Primordial Spirit, crushed it, and finished refining Laozi as his incarnation.

Tongtian killed Hongjun after learning that he had seized Taiqing’s body, and the Human Race later became the Primordial World’s sole Era Protagonist. Li Yi departed Penglai Immortal Island to travel through other worlds with Yuanfeng, Yuanling, and the three Phoenix Clan women, while Tongtian remained behind to watch over the Primordial World.

• Tongtian attacked Hongjun with the God-Slaying Spear and destroyed his Primordial Spirit, while Yuanshi left and never returned with the Elucidation Sect.
• Three Yuanhui later, the Human Race had replaced the Wu and Yao Tribes as the Primordial World’s sole Era Protagonist, and technology had spread throughout the world.
• Tongtian brought Yunxiao, Qiongxiao, and Bixiao to meet Li Yi, and Li Yi agreed to take them along on his travels.
• Yuanfeng, Yuanling, and three Phoenix Clan women joined Li Yi, who departed Penglai Immortal Island after handing Tongtian the game console.
• Nuwa and Houtu followed Li Yi through spatial rifts, while Tongtian stayed behind and set out to visit Hong Yun.
