The other giant hand swung at the same time, sending the Root members who had just reached Fugaku flying. They coughed up blood in midair.
The sudden reversals caught everyone off guard. Danzo's cold, venomous eyes were filled with shock and more than a trace of fear.
He had long suspected Fugaku Uchiha might have awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, but seeing it for himself was still hard to believe.
Excitement spread across the faces of the Uchiha behind him. Fugaku's awakening gave them hope that their clan would rise again.
"I never thought Fugaku had awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan. No wonder he could come and go from the Great Ninja Villages as if no one could stop him."
"We have to make Danzo pay this time. He's deliberately suppressed the Uchiha more than once."

Jin gave a wry smile. "I had my suspicions. You all know what the Three-Tomoe Sharingan can do. It could never have taken Fugaku this far.
"But he never brought it up, and he never showed anyone the power of his Mangekyo Sharingan."
The members of the Assassination Team nodded. Fugaku had hidden it well.
Behind them, Konoha's Scout Ninja hurried to send word back to the village. This Intelligence was no less important than Fugaku leading the Security Force against the Root Base.
The black Half-Body Susanoo was an overwhelming sight. None of the Root Ninja dared charge forward.
"Susanoo? I refuse to believe its defenses can withstand an assault from this many
