A day and a half later, Fugaku saw Konoha's gates. People streamed in and out, and the place was bustling.
Of the Five Great Ninja Villages, the other four were more like military bases. Only Konoha resembled a thriving town, with merchants coming and going without end.
Fugaku had barely entered the village when he felt someone watching him. He turned and saw Orochimaru smiling at him.
With a Body Flicker Technique, Fugaku vanished and reappeared atop a tall building nearby.
