Background / History

After five years at Nording Academy, Tang San travels with Xiao Wu to Suotuo City on the Grandmaster’s recommendation, intending to enroll at Shrek Academy. He trusts his teacher’s judgment despite knowing little about the school 47.

Their arrival brings them into conflict with Passione when Xiao Wu beats one of its members. Tang San tries to avoid further trouble, but Passione officer Dai Mubai confronts the pair. During the ensuing fight, Tang San attempts to fire a concealed Sleeve Arrow at Dai’s throat; Jodio stops his wrist before the weapon fires 47 49 50.

Ten thousand years later, Tang San is a God King opposed by Jodio and Huo Yuhao. He intervenes against them personally, forcing Jodio to launch a temporal pincer attack and retreat into the past. Tang San subsequently appears able to strike through a passage in time, though Jodio suspects another god may be helping him 1 8 9.

Personality

• Tang San is protective of Xiao Wu: he tries to steer her away from Passione and responds immediately when Jodio directs his attention toward her 49 50.
• He remains guarded under Dai Mubai’s questioning, but the threat to Xiao Wu and Dai’s intimidation draw him into a fight 49 50.
• As a God King, he treats Jodio with contempt, calling him an “insect” even while recognizing that Jodio can hurt him 29.
