This maze was a maze within a maze.

Of course, compared to traditional hedge mazes, the maze Feng Ling and her group faced was vastly larger. The plant walls alone were nearly a hundred meters tall—roughly the height of a thirty-story building.

The branches and leaves overhead were too lush, making the entrance hard to spot from above. But once they reached the ground, the arched entrance hidden among the plants became extremely conspicuous.
