Starblazer Cruise: Clearing the Route!

Inside the Soul Guidance Train,

Chen Xing looked down and saw Na'er resting beside him with her eyes closed.

As if sensing his gaze, Na'er looked up and opened her eyes.

"Brother, are we almost there?"

Chen Xing nodded.

"Yeah. The Far North is just ahead."

The Soul Guidance Train stopped at the edge of a snow-covered wilderness.

Chen Xing stepped off with Na'er.

Di Tian followed, along with four others.

Xiong Jun, the Myriad Demon King, Bi Ji, and Zi JI!

All five Ferocious Beasts had come.

Xiong Jun rolled his shoulders as soon as he stepped out.

"Finally. I've been itching to take on these Evil Soul Masters."

The Myriad Demon King said nothing, silently taking in their surroundings.

Zi JI and Bi Ji stood behind Di Tian, watching Chen Xing and Na'er as they waited for orders.

Chen Xing glanced over the group, then spoke.

"Our target this time is the Holy Spirit Cult's headquarters."

"According to our intelligence, only the Underworld Emperor and the Two Heavenly Kings are stationed there right now, but there are over ten thousand cult members inside."

"Our objective is simple."

Chen Xing's expression turned cold.

"Leave none alive!"

Xiong Jun grinned.

"Now that's my kind of job!"

Di Tian approached Na'er and bowed slightly.

"My lord, should we scout ahead?"

Na'er shook her head.

"No. We push straight in!"

Di Tian nodded. Without another word, he carried out her order.

Chen Xing said nothing more either. He raised a hand and pressed it against his chest.

There, the Stellaron pulsed slowly, giving off a gentle golden glow.

The Stellaron had gone dormant during the last great battle. Now it had regained some of its power and resonated with his Wish Power.

"Old friend, it's been a while. Let's fight together again!"

The next second, Starblazer landed in the snow with a thunderous crash, towering like a mountain.

Chen Xing leaped into the cockpit.

As the hatch sealed, the Mecha's eyes lit up.

"Let's go!"

Orange-gold flames erupted from Starblazer's thrusters.

It soared into the air and sped toward the depths of the Far North.

The snowstorm raged, but Starblazer was faster.

In the cockpit, Chen Xing studied the terrain displayed on the Holographic Screen.

"Large-scale energy signatures detected three kilometers ahead. Likely the Holy Spirit Cult headquarters' outer defenses, pam."

Chen Xing nodded.

"Keep scanning. Mark every enemy unit."

"Roger, pam."

The Holographic Screen quickly filled with dense clusters of red dots.

Chen Xing gave it a quick glance. There had to be at least a thousand.

All Evil Soul Masters!

He licked his lips.

Evil Soul Masters, your worst nightmare had arrived!

The next second, Starblazer surged forward and soon reached a massive Ice Fortress.

The outer walls were packed with cult members.

They spotted the red Mecha hurtling through the sky.

Alarms rang throughout the Ice Fortress.

"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!"

Countless cult members swarmed onto the walls and aimed an assortment of Soul Tools skyward.

But Chen Xing didn't slow down. He accelerated.

He shoved the control stick forward.

Starblazer entered cruise sweep mode!

[Starblazer: Route obstruction detected. Commencing clearance!]

At the sound of a mechanical voice, Starblazer became a streak of light and dove low over the ground.

Before the people on the walls could react, Starblazer flashed past them.

Crimson ring-shaped reticles appeared out of thin air, locking onto every cult member.

The next second, streaks of blue lightning and bursts of red sparks sprayed from Starblazer's guns.

Some tried to fight back, but Starblazer was too fast. Many were hit before they could even attack.

Chen Xing worked the control stick, his face expressionless.

Starblazer swept along the crest of the Ice Fortress.

Wherever it passed, cult members fell in swathes like cut wheat and turned to ash.

In barely a dozen seconds,

all thousand-plus cult members manning the outer defenses had been wiped out.

Chen Xing glanced at the red dots on the Holographic Screen.

Every last one had gone dark!

He let out a long breath.

Mowing down Evil Soul Masters like this felt...

"So damn good!"

But just then, a dark figure shot out from deep within the Ice Fortress.

Incredibly fast!

The figure stopped a few dozen meters in front of Starblazer.

"A Mecha? You dare storm the Holy Spirit Cult's headquarters with just one Mecha?"

Inside the cockpit, Chen Xing took one look and recognized him.

"Well, if it isn't Dark Hummingbird. Long time no see!"

At the sound of his voice, Dark Hummingbird's pupils contracted and veins bulged on his forehead.

"You little bastard!"

Of course he remembered the brat.

He had personally tried to capture Zhen Hua's student to use as leverage, only for the boy to run circles around him in a Black-rank Mecha.

"And you dare come here on your own?"

Chen Xing laughed.

"Come here? Surprise! Bet you didn't expect me to come after you."

"You chased me last time. Now it's my turn."

"What do they call that? The tables have turned?"

Dark Hummingbird sneered.

"With that hunk of metal?"

Chen Xing's voice remained calm.

"You said that last time too. So? Did you catch me?"

Dark Hummingbird's face darkened completely.

But he quickly regained his cold, sinister expression.

"You only escaped last time because I didn't want to make a scene."

"Now that you've come to me, don't expect to leave."

With that, he unleashed his Soul Power, and black light poured from his body.

The instant he transformed, he became a streak of black light and charged straight at Starblazer.

Chen Xing watched the target marker flicker across the screen.

His opponent specialized in speed, and he was fast.

But Chen Xing wasn't worried.

"Pom Pom, track his movements."

"Analyzing, pam... Target speed is high, but his movements follow a pattern. Recommend attacking toward three o'clock in half a second, pam."

Chen Xing waited half a second, then shoved the control stick.

Starblazer raised its right arm and threw a punch toward three o'clock.

The timing was perfect. The punch slammed squarely into Dark Hummingbird.

He flew backward, smashing through several ice walls before coming to a stop.

He wasn't dead. Badly wounded, he slowly dragged himself out of the wreckage.

He looked up at the crimson Mecha hovering above, and fear entered his eyes for the first time.

He remembered well that the boy had used only a Black-rank Mecha back in Heaven Dou City.

He hadn't caught him then, but at least he'd been able to pursue him and attack.

This red Mecha was on another level entirely in both strength and speed.

"W-what kind of Mecha is that?!"

Chen Xing smiled faintly.

"The kind that came to collect you!"
