Background / History

Yamato is Kaido’s only daughter. During her confinement on Onigashima, she rejected Kaido as her father, declared herself to be Kozuki Oden, and challenged him despite knowing she was outmatched. She fought him in her Great Mouth True God form, displayed Conqueror’s Haki Infusion, and refused to submit even after severe injuries. Luffy ultimately rescued her from Kaido’s final strike. 149

Kaido later permitted Allen to take Yamato away from Onigashima. Though she initially resisted Allen’s authority and feared being sent back, she accompanied him to Sabaody Archipelago and became part of his group. 56

Her attachment to Kozuki Oden remained central to her self-image until Allen used the Heavenly Demise Divine Sword to erase the information about Oden from her mind, intending to free her from living under another person’s identity. 303

Yamato is a tall, white-haired young woman with prominent oni horns. Her ordinary appearance is softened by an energetic expression and, at times, a baseball cap given to her by Allen to conceal her horns. 126 134
