Yamato and Rayleigh traveled with Shanks to meet Whitebeard, who learned that their intervention had turned the battle against the BIG MOM Pirates into a devastating defeat for her forces. Yamato boarded the Moby Dick ahead of Shanks and grew furious when Marco called her by the name Wangcai.

• Yamato insisted that Shanks take her to Whitebeard, so she and Rayleigh boarded the Rodolfo and set sail.
• Marco told Whitebeard that Rayleigh, Yamato, and Allen's young followers had helped Shanks defeat the BIG MOM Pirates, killing nearly a third of her children.
• Whitebeard allowed Shanks and his companions to board the Moby Dick and went out to greet them.
• Yamato's intimidating presence caused several Whitebeard Pirates to collapse as she climbed aboard.

Yamato confronted Whitebeard after provoking his crew, then challenged him to a fight when he refused to speak with her alone. Their first clash unleashed a massive shock wave, and Whitebeard knocked Yamato back several meters.

• Yamato shifted into Beast Form and clashed with Whitebeard again, but he overpowered her and invited her into his cabin.
• Yamato told Whitebeard that Allen had sent her to say he was fine and did not need rescuing.
• Whitebeard declared he would rescue Allen regardless, but Yamato explained that Allen had let himself be captured and expected to escape by the night after tomorrow.
• Whitebeard asked Yamato to be his daughter, and Yamato angrily rejected him, saying she already had two dads.
• After Yamato left, Whitebeard decided he would set out for Marine Headquarters if Allen had not escaped by the night after tomorrow.

On the eve of Allen’s public execution, the five Shichibukai gathered at Marine Headquarters while Sengoku explained the execution arrangements. Hancock worried about Allen’s escape, and after Gion visited her, she continued talking about him to her snake.

• Five Shichibukai—Kuma, Doflamingo, Moria, Hancock, and Hanafusa—attended the meeting at Marine Headquarters, while Allen and Crocodile were absent from their ranks.
• Doflamingo used his String-String Fruit to force two Marine Vice Admirals to fight until Tsuru warned him to stop and Sengoku angrily rebuked him.
• Sengoku explained the arrangements for Allen’s execution, then had the Shichibukai taken away to rest.
• Gion visited Hancock, who anxiously spoke at length about her love for Allen and her fear for his safety.

Allen broke free of his Seastone restraints and began a violent escape from Impel Down’s sixth level. As alarms summoned the guards, he left the prisoners terrified and his prison break just beginning.

• Allen used Formless Sword Qi to break his Seastone shackles, and Bullet watched in surprise.
• Domino spotted Allen’s escape and raised the alarm, prompting Magellan to order the exits sealed and guards sent to the sixth level.
• Allen shattered his Seastone cell and ignored the prisoners’ pleas to release them.
• Allen cut off the hands reaching through a neighboring cell, then entered and killed its prisoners.
• Allen emerged covered in blood, mocked the terrified prisoners, and continued his escape attempt.

Allen slaughtered nearly every prisoner on Impel Down’s sixth level, subdued the guards, and freed Crocodile and Bullet. Bullet agreed to follow Allen only if Allen defeated him in a fair fight and kept winning every future challenge.

• Allen used Teleport and the Heavenly Demise Sword to slaughter prisoners throughout the sixth level, while Bullet wondered if he had gone mad.
• Hannyabal and his subordinates arrived, but Allen continued killing until only Bullet, Crocodile, and Red the Aloof remained.
• Allen knocked out Hannyabal and the guards with Conqueror’s Haki, then freed Crocodile and gave him the Sand-Sand Fruit.
• Allen asked Bullet to join him, and Bullet agreed on the condition that Allen defeat him fairly and win every future challenge.

Allen freed Bullet and sent him and Crocodile toward the first-level exit while he stayed behind to break out Redfield and head for the upper prison levels. Redfield began recovering after Allen removed his shackles and gave him Life Essence, leaving Allen’s plan to unleash him on the Marines—and Sengoku—underway.

• Allen removed his Seastone shackles, told Bullet and Crocodile to wait at the first-level exit, and ordered Bullet not to kill Magellan if they encountered him.
• Allen went to Redfield’s cell and found the legendary pirate unconscious and bound in Seastone.
• Allen decided to free Redfield and use him to draw the Marines’ fire, imagining Sengoku would appreciate the surprise.
• Allen removed Redfield’s shackles and fed him Life Essence, causing Redfield to briefly open his eyes before closing them again to recover.
• Allen left Redfield and hurried toward the fifth level to collect attribute points from the prisoners.

Bullet and Magellan confronted each other on the third level of Impel Down, where their old grievances erupted into a fight. Bullet repelled Magellan’s venom attacks, leaving their battle unresolved.

• Bullet and Crocodile ran into Magellan, who recognized Bullet and argued with him about the guards’ past beatings.
• Crocodile demanded recognition, but Bullet and Magellan ignored him.
• Bullet punched Magellan into a wall, but Magellan coated his arms in venom and poisoned Bullet’s fist.
• Bullet dispelled the venom from his hand and destroyed Magellan’s three Poison Dragons with an Armament Haki emission attack.
• Magellan sent two more Poison Dragons to engulf Bullet, but Bullet used black ripples to repel the venom.

Bullet defeated Magellan after Magellan used Venom Demon, then spared him because Allen had asked him not to kill him. Allen reached the third level, found Magellan helpless and the prisoners badly wounded, and continued looking for more Attribute Points.

• Magellan transformed into the red skeletal giant called Venom Demon and attacked Bullet and Crocodile.
• Bullet kicked Crocodile clear and fought Magellan, eventually knocking him down after a dozen exchanges.
• Bullet left Magellan alive, saying someone had told him not to kill him, and headed for the second level with Crocodile.
• Allen continued killing prisoners and collecting Devil Fruit abilities and points on the fifth, sixth, and fourth levels.
• Allen reached the third level and found the cells covered in red sludge, the prisoners injured, and Magellan unable to move.

Allen explained why he spared Magellan, then killed the Level 4 prisoners to take their Devil Fruit powers. Bullet and Crocodile reached Impel Down’s exit and found a powerful Marine force waiting for Allen, setting Bullet off when Garp asked where Allen was.

• Allen told Magellan he respected his dedication and said Hannyabal and the others would wake by morning.
• Allen killed the Level 4 prisoners, taking their Devil Fruit powers, and confirmed to Magellan that he had deliberately let the Marines capture him.
• Bullet and Crocodile smashed through the exit gates and found seven or eight warships guarded by the Three Admirals, Garp, and the CP0 Chief Commander.

Allen unleashed his Susanoo and overwhelmed the Marines, forcing Garp, Aokiji, and Kizaru to work together to deflect his slash. As Allen prepared to leave, a mysterious woman summoned Saint Saturn to a World Government warship, and Allen sensed that he recognized her aura.

• Allen transformed with Armament: Susanoo and cut down Marines with Draw-Cut, while Garp tried and failed to stop the slash with Galaxy Impact.
• Aokiji and Kizaru joined Garp and redirected Allen’s slash into the sky, then all three dodged his massive blade strike.

• Saint Saturn berated the defeated Marines and ordered everyone except the Three Admirals and Garp to retreat.
• Allen revealed that the Seastone chains had been too impure to restrain him, prompting Saint Saturn to blame Doflamingo.
• Gunko invited Allen to join the Holy Knights, but he refused and insulted Imu, prompting Gunko to attack him.

• Imu ordered Warcury to pressure Vegapunk to develop fuel for Uranus, intending to attack Hachinosu Island and force Allen to choose between intervening and letting the island be destroyed.

• Allen questioned whether the floating islands were Golden Lion’s territory, and Yamato insisted she had learned it in town.
