  • Allen proposed a one-on-one duel with Kaido, and they agreed that the loser would unconditionally do one thing for the winner.
  • Allen and Kaido set a two-hour time limit and chose Yamato and King as referees after arguing over who could be trusted.
  • Allen and Kaido unleashed their Conqueror's Haki, knocking most of the Beasts Pirates unconscious and leaving Yamato, King, and Queen standing.
  • Kaido attacked Allen with Great Virtue: Thunder Bagua, and Allen countered with Dragon Slaying Sword before they separated.
  • Allen kept his wager request secret and hinted to Kaido that he had a powerful secret move.

Ch. 52Armament: Susanoo!

Allen and Kaido continued their battle, with Kaido trying to secure Allen as his son-in-law and First Mate in the Beasts Pirates. After Allen reflected Kaido’s Hakai and revealed the sword’s supposed weakness, he unveiled his Armament: Susanoo form, leaving the spectators shocked as the fight continued.

  • Kaido again demanded that Allen join the Beasts Pirates and offered Yamato as his wife, while Yamato said she would rather make Allen her wife.
  • Kaido charged up Hakai and struck at Allen, whose Heavenly Demise Sword absorbed the attack.
  • Allen released the stored Hakai back at Kaido, who dodged it; Allen mocked him, and Yamato joined in.
  • Kaido learned that the sword could absorb and release attacks but supposedly could not absorb Haki, and he urged Allen to show his strongest form.
  • Allen formed a three-meter-tall suit of black Armament armor with Armament: Susanoo, frightening Queen and impressing Kaido.
  • Yamato excitedly touched Allen’s armor and asked him to make one for her, but Allen told her to move away so he would not accidentally hurt her.

Ch. 53That Damn Shit-stirrer Again!

Allen and Kaido’s battle intensified after Kaido awakened his Devil Fruit, while Aokiji investigated a destroyed Marine warship near Wano. At Marine Headquarters, Sengoku learned that Gol D. Allen was fighting Kaido and convened the officers to discuss what to do.

  • Kaido awakened his Devil Fruit after fighting Allen and transformed into a dark-gold half-beast form with black flames.
  • Allen enlarged his mecha with Grand Armament: Susanoo, and he and Kaido clashed with enough force to distort space and shake the sea beyond Onigashima.
  • Aokiji reported to Sengoku that an unknown attack had destroyed a Marine warship and killed its crew near Wano, and he suspected a distant battle had caused the strike.
  • Sengoku ordered Aokiji to remain near Wano and summoned Marine vice admirals and higher-ranking officers to a meeting.
  • Akainu proposed gathering Marine forces to attack Onigashima, but Tsuru warned that the plan was too dangerous with only Aokiji there.
  • Tsuru confirmed that Gol D. Allen was challenging Kaido, and Sengoku exclaimed that the damn shit-stirrer was involved again.

Ch. 54Kaido was defeated

Allen defeated Kaido on Onigashima with his strongest sword technique, though the attack exhausted him as well. Yamato rushed to check on Kaido while Allen lay recovering nearby.

  • Sengoku decided the Marines would not intervene in Allen and Kaido's battle, fearing they could face both fighters and noting Allen could teleport away.
  • Allen and Kaido continued their exhausting fight, and Allen restored his stamina by absorbing life force from a tree with his sword.
  • Allen formed a giant sword with Body Sword Unity and struck Kaido, breaking Kaido's club and leaving him severely wounded.
  • Kaido fell defeated, and Yamato ran to his side to examine his injuries.
  • Allen exhausted his Haki and collapsed, telling Yamato he was merely tired.

Ch. 55Allen!

After defeating Kaido, Allen denied being Joy Boy and declared his ambition to become the strongest, while revealing what he knew about Imu. Kaido accepted his defeat, and Allen asked to take Yamato away with him, leaving Kaido furious and Yamato clinging excitedly to Allen.

  • Kaido asked whether Allen was Joy Boy, but Allen said he was Gol D. Allen and urged Kaido to define himself by his own strength.
  • Kaido regained his spirit and asked Allen about his goal; Allen said he wanted to become the strongest being in the world.
  • Allen told Kaido that Imu ruled the world and had probably gained eternal life through a fruit, astonishing those present.
  • Kaido accepted defeat and asked what Allen wanted in return, and Allen requested that Yamato join him.
  • Yamato hugged Allen excitedly, while Kaido objected that Allen could have taken her earlier; Allen said he wanted to defeat Kaido first and take her fairly.

Ch. 56Little Yamato, conquered!

Kaido let Yamato leave Onigashima with Allen, who brought her to Sabaody Archipelago and learned that Adam Tree wood would be auctioned there the next day. After giving Yamato a horned hat, Allen took her to a room, where she cried out for him to pull out.

  • Kaido told Allen to take Yamato away and asked him to go easy on the Beasts Pirates.
  • Allen rejected Kaido’s suggestion that he form a pirate crew and joked about making the Celestial Dragons suffer if the World Government called him a pirate.
  • Allen took Yamato to a bar on Sabaody Archipelago and called Shalulia for help finding Adam Tree wood.
  • Shalulia told Allen that Adam Tree wood should be listed at an auction the next day.
  • Allen gave Yamato a hat made to fit her horns, then carried her to a room after she touched his weapon.

Ch. 57A cat that could do backflips?

Allen removed the information about Kozuki Oden from Yamato’s mind and left her in Kamui Space before visiting Gion at Marine Headquarters. After explaining his connection to Roger, Allen comforted Gion and decided to deal with Chaton Kake’s harassment without killing him.

  • Allen used the Heavenly Demise Divine Sword to remove the Kozuki Oden information from the sleeping Yamato’s mind, then brought her into Kamui Space.
  • Gion mistook Allen’s call for another call from Chaton Kake and angrily shouted at him before realizing who was speaking.
  • Allen appeared behind Gion, explained that Roger had adopted him, and kissed her after she said she believed him.
  • Gion told Allen that Chaton Kake had been pestering her, including inviting her to watch his cat do backflips.
  • Allen offered to take care of Kake, and, despite Gion’s concern about the consequences, promised to leave him alive but unable to be a man.

Ch. 58So I Was Eternal Number Two!

Allen spent the night with Gion, gave her a matching ring, and explained his plans for the Sabaody Archipelago auction. He left near dawn, unaware that Gion had woken and watched him go.

  • Allen and Gion shared an intimate night, then talked about his challenge against Kaido, which Allen described as a draw.
  • Allen gave Gion a Phoenix Ring, and she grew upset when she learned she was his second partner to receive one.
  • Allen gave Gion a Mystic Mirror, prompting her to complain that she was once again Eternal Number Two.
  • Allen warned Gion not to come to Sabaody Archipelago because trouble might break out at the auction, but she insisted on going with him.
  • Allen agreed to let Gion come if she stayed behind the Admiral, then left near dawn while she pretended to be asleep.

Ch. 59Yamato's other side

After returning to Sabaody, Allen reunited with Yamato in Kamui Space and discovered her bold, affectionate side. They left for lunch and headed out together, disguised so others would not recognize them.

  • Allen found Yamato still asleep in Kamui Space and woke her by pinching her nose.
  • Yamato pulled Allen into bed, and the two spent time together before falling asleep again.
  • After waking, Yamato suggested using Kamui Space to spend every night together, and Allen changed the subject by proposing lunch and a trip to the auction.
  • Allen put away Yamato's wolf-tooth club, and the two went to a restaurant in disguises and ate a large meal.
  • Yamato asked Allen to call her Big Sister Yamato, then called him Little Brother Allen as they set off.

Ch. 60The Auction Begins

Allen took Yamato shopping on Sabaody before bringing her to the auction, where they watched the opening lots sell and waited for something worth bidding on. The auction continued, and Allen promised Yamato she could call out bids when a valuable item appeared.

  • Allen bought Yamato more than a dozen outfits, then stored their shopping bags in Kamui Space and headed with her to the Auction House on Island 1.
  • Allen and Yamato entered the Auction House and saw Saint Charlos arrive with Black-Suited Bodyguards, then joked about him as he settled into his private box.
  • The auctioneer opened the auction with the Great Grade blade Flowing Light, which an unknown crew-cut swordsman bought for two hundred million Berry.
  • A pirate whom Allen recognized as one of Kaido's men bought the Zoan Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Dalmatian, for two hundred and twenty million Berry.
  • Allen teased Yamato about her Mythical Zoan fruit and called her Wangcai, then promised she could call out bids when a good lot appeared.

Ch. 61Auction uproar

At a high-stakes auction, Yamato outbid Saint Charlos for the Gold-Gold Fruit until Allen intervened and claimed it for himself. The auction house descended into chaos, and Allen ended the chapter demanding that the auctioneer hand over the fruit while Saint Charlos trembled.

  • The auctioneer unveiled the Gold-Gold Fruit, and Allen recognized it as the fruit Gild Tesoro would eventually use to build his entertainment city.
  • Yamato challenged Saint Charlos's two-billion-Berry bid, raising the price by one hundred thousand each time until he ordered his bodyguards to kill her.
  • Allen stood up and declared that Yamato was his woman, causing Saint Charlos to recognize him and order his bodyguards to stop.
  • As the crowd tried to flee, Allen threatened to call them accomplices to a Celestial Dragon's murder, forcing them back into their seats.
  • Allen told the auctioneer that Saint Charlos had won the fruit but would give it to him, and the terrified auctioneer begged Allen to spare him.

Ch. 62Young Master Charlos Is Picking Up My Tab!

Allen won the auction’s Adam Tree, then made Saint Charlos pay for it and seized him as a hostage after killing his bodyguards. As the auction house emptied, Allen and Yamato prepared for the Navy’s arrival.

  • Allen collected the items he had won, including six Devil Fruits, while the auction continued without anyone daring to outbid him.
  • Allen had Yamato bid 1.5 billion and one hundred thousand Berry for the Adam Tree, and the auctioneer sold it to them after the other bidders stayed silent.
  • Allen demanded that Saint Charlos pay for the Adam Tree, then appeared beside him and killed the Black-Suited Bodyguards with sword energy.
  • Allen confirmed that Saint Charlos had notified the Navy and made him kneel, then ordered everyone else to leave the Auction House.
  • Yamato joined Allen in ordering the crowd out, and the attendees rushed for the exit.

Ch. 63You Owe Me Compensation for Emotional Distress!

Allen absorbed the Adam Tree and agreed to meet Gild Tesoro on Island 42 after Tesoro asked to follow him. He then confronted Kizaru outside the Auction House, using Saint Charlos to demand compensation and leaving negotiations with the Marines underway.

  • Allen drew the Adam Tree into Kamui Space.
  • Gild Tesoro asked Allen to let him follow, explaining that he wanted power to take revenge on the Celestial Dragons.
  • Allen told Tesoro to wait for him on Island 42.
  • Allen led Yamato to the entrance with Saint Charlos crawling behind him on a rope, where Kizaru confronted them.
  • Allen claimed Saint Charlos owed them compensation for emotional distress and demanded ten billion Berry and two Devil Fruits.
  • Kizaru went to contact the Five Elders while Allen and Yamato waited together.

Ch. 64I'm your number two!

Kizaru told Allen that the Five Elders would deliver the demanded compensation in two hours, while Garp and Tsuru arrived and heard how Allen had extorted a Celestial Dragon. Gion's jealousy over Allen and Yamato became obvious, and the awkward confrontation was interrupted by new arrivals.

  • Saint Saturn angrily blamed Kizaru for the Marines' failures, then agreed to send Allen the requested items in two hours.
  • Kizaru relayed Saint Saturn's message to Allen, and Garp arrived to watch the commotion.
  • Tsuru's group heard a soldier describe how Allen had made a Celestial Dragon pay his auction bills and demanded compensation.
  • Garp laughed at Allen's scheme and invited him to join, while Allen noticed Gion glaring at him and Yamato.
  • Gion accused Allen and Yamato of shamelessly embracing, and Yamato challenged her before Allen covered Yamato's mouth.
  • Several people arrived and broke the tense standoff, to Allen's relief.

Ch. 65The Arrogant Yamato

Allen accepted compensation from the World Government and released Saint Charlos after forcing him to kowtow and crawl. He then provoked the Marines, and Yamato challenged Kizaru to fight, but Kizaru denied being the strongest.

  • The CP0 commander delivered two Devil Fruits and 10 billion Berry, which Allen identified as the Snow-Snow Fruit and the Bird-Bird Fruit, Model: Golden Kite, then stored in Kamui Space.
  • Allen demanded that Saint Charlos kowtow three times to the CP0 commander before he would release him.
  • Saint Charlos kowtowed, crawled to the CP0 agents, and left with them after Allen told him to thank the Five Elders.
  • Allen challenged the Marines, and Yamato demanded a one-on-one fight with the strongest Marine.
  • Yamato singled out Kizaru, but he waved his hands and denied being the strongest.

Ch. 66My name is Gol D. Wang Cai!

Garp challenged Yamato after she doubted his strength, but Yamato revealed her own immense Conqueror’s Haki and knocked out most of the Marines. She introduced herself as “Gol D. Wang Cai,” prompting laughter, and Garp began to explain what Wangcai meant as Allen tried to stop him.

  • Garp claimed he was the strongest fighter present, and Yamato accused him of acting tough and sponging off others.
  • Yamato asked Allen for her Wolf-tooth club, then unleashed Conqueror’s Haki that knocked most of the Marines unconscious.
  • Tsuru ordered Marines below admiral rank to withdraw, while Garp recognized the club and asked Yamato who she was.
  • Yamato announced her name as Gol D. Wang Cai, and the Marines laughed because she misunderstood what Wangcai meant.
  • Garp offered to explain the meaning of Wangcai, ignored Allen’s warning, and pointed to the Dog Head Warship.

Ch. 67Guard dog!

Yamato learned that Allen had tricked her about the meaning of Wangcai and attacked him while Garp and the Marines laughed. Allen whisked himself and Yamato away through a vortex, leaving the Marines to wait as Chief Officer Tsuru considered reporting to Sengoku.

  • Garp told Yamato that Wangcai meant “guard dog,” revealing Allen’s deception and making everyone on Island No. 1 laugh.
  • Yamato attacked Allen with her Wolf-tooth club, and Allen blocked her blows while the Marines watched and Garp laughed.
  • Gion cheered Yamato on and called her a homewrecker, while Allen tried to persuade Yamato to forgive him.
  • Allen announced that the Marines should wait an hour, then pulled himself and Yamato into a vortex.
  • Chief Officer Tsuru considered reporting the situation to Sengoku after a Marine asked whether they would really wait.

Ch. 68The Navy's Plot

Chief Officer Tsuru persuaded Sengoku to ambush Allen when he returned, while Allen and Yamato reconciled in Kamui Space. Allen came back to Sabaody with Yamato and provoked Garp, setting the stage for the Navy’s planned fight.

  • Chief Officer Tsuru told Sengoku that Allen had threatened to return in an hour, then proposed hiding Aokiji and Akainu until Allen was weakened by fighting Garp and Kizaru.
  • Sengoku approved the plan and ordered Aokiji and Akainu to head to Sabaody, while Chief Officer Tsuru prevented Gion from warning Allen.
  • Allen kissed Yamato in Kamui Space, and the two reconciled before spending the hour together.
  • Allen redeemed cigarettes from the system, then told Yamato he was going to teach the Navy a lesson; Yamato dressed to go with him.
  • Allen and Yamato returned to Sabaody, where Gion glared resentfully at Allen and Garp wondered how Yamato had changed so much.
  • Allen accused Garp of nearly getting him beaten up and provoked him into a fight.

Ch. 69The Fearlessly Brave Kizaru

Allen removed Gion and Tsuru from the battle, then overwhelmed the Marine Vice Admirals with a sword slash. Kizaru was pressured into a one-on-one sword fight with Allen, while Yamato continued battling Garp.

  • Yamato stopped Allen from attacking Garp and began fighting him with her club.
  • Allen teleported Gion to the Marine dormitories, then used a Space Sphere to send Tsuru away after resisting her Wash-Wash Fruit ability with Armament Haki.
  • Allen struck the Marines with Divine Avoidance, seriously injuring the Vice Admirals while Kizaru dodged the slash.
  • Kizaru told the Marines to withdraw and accepted Allen's challenge to a swordsmanship-only duel after Allen barred him from running away.
  • Allen summoned a glowing seven-colored sword, distracting Yamato long enough for Garp to punch her and make her cry.

Ch. 70So You Really Are a Doggy?

Yamato confronted Garp after he punched her and mistook her wolf form for a dog, escalating their argument into a powerful clash. Garp overpowered her with Galaxy Impact and sent her flying.

  • Yamato accused Garp of hurting her, transformed into her Half-Human Beast Form, and attacked him with Thunder Bagua.
  • Yamato struck Garp with Ice: Thunder Bagua, freezing him, but Garp broke free and sent her flying with the shock wave.
  • Garp recognized Yamato as a Mythical Zoan and challenged her, while Yamato called him a show-off and pointed to Allen fighting Kizaru.
  • Garp and Yamato coated their attacks with Conqueror's Haki and clashed with Galaxy Impact and Great Ice: Thunder Bagua.
  • Garp's power overwhelmed Yamato's strike and sent her flying.

Ch. 71Ice and Fire Many Heavens

Allen saved Yamato from Akainu and Aokiji’s sneak attack by using a Susanoo that absorbed their ice and magma and returned the combined force against them. As the three Admirals attacked him together and threatened to wear down his Haki, Allen dismissed the Mecha and woke Yamato so she could join the fight.

  • Akainu and Aokiji launched magma and ice attacks at the airborne Yamato, but Garp shouted at them to stop.
  • Allen appeared beside Yamato, shielded her with a black Susanoo, and absorbed Akainu and Aokiji’s attacks with the Divine Sword.
  • Allen struck back with the absorbed ice and magma, leaving Akainu and Aokiji battered while Garp walked away in anger.
  • Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru attacked Allen’s Susanoo together, and Allen realized that maintaining it would quickly drain his Haki.
  • Allen forced the three Admirals back with a Greatsword slash, dismissed the Susanoo, and woke Yamato so she could fight.

Ch. 72Come, Feel the Pain!

Allen calmed Yamato by agreeing to armor her giant wolf form in Mecha, then helped her unleash a powerful combined attack against the Three Admirals. The battle escalated as Yamato fired freezing breath infused with Allen’s sword qi at Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru.

  • Allen praised Yamato until she told him she wanted a suit of Mecha fitted onto her, and he agreed.
  • Yamato transformed into a giant white wolf, and Allen covered her in armor using Susanoo and a Space Barrier.
  • Yamato attacked the Three Admirals with her armored paw while Allen urged her to use a special move.
  • Yamato charged Cold Breath as Aokiji warned Akainu and Kizaru to go all out, and Allen added streams of Formless Sword Qi to the freezing energy.
  • Yamato fired a massive pillar of freezing light and sword qi at the Three Admirals, and their attacks collided across the island.

Ch. 73Sengoku-san, you understand me!

After Allen and Yamato escaped the Marines’ battle-scarred island, the Admirals returned to Marine Headquarters and argued over the failed mission. Sengoku and Tsuru considered Allen’s motives, then decided to raise his bounty as Kaido sneezed on Onigashima.

  • Allen, exhausted after the battle, took Yamato into Kamui Space and disappeared, leaving the injured Admirals behind.
  • Akainu blamed Kizaru for holding back, but Kizaru insisted to Sengoku that he had risked his life against Allen.
  • Akainu accused Garp of causing the mission’s failure by leaving early, while Garp slept, ate senbei, and argued with Sengoku over the snacks.
  • Tsuru wondered why Allen had spared her and sent her back, while keeping Gion’s relationship with Allen secret.
  • Sengoku and Tsuru suspected Allen was targeting the Celestial Dragons, and Sengoku ordered Allen’s bounty raised by two billion and Yamato’s to eight hundred million under the epithet Wangcai Yamato.
  • Kaido sneezed on Onigashima and wondered who was thinking about him.

Ch. 74Do the Birds Really Not Shit Here?

Allen took Yamato to a nameless island, recovered his strength with the Heavenly Demise Sword, and returned with her to Sabaody. He made Zotero his first subordinate and gave him a Soul Imprisonment before offering him the Gold-Gold Fruit.

  • Allen teased Yamato with a bird on a nameless island, and she hit him with her Wolf-tooth Club before frightening the bird into defecating.
  • Allen absorbed life force from ten trees with the Heavenly Demise Sword and restored himself to peak condition.
  • Allen and Yamato appeared on Island 42 of the Sabaody Archipelago, where Zotero met them and asked whether Allen was hurt.
  • Allen told Zotero he was free and named him his first subordinate, then gave him a Soul Imprisonment to swallow.
  • Zotero swallowed the bead, and Allen offered him the Gold-Gold Fruit.

Ch. 75The aloof Allen

Allen gave Zotero the Gold-Gold Fruit and ordered him to build a fortune to help fund a plan to kill the Celestial Dragons. He summoned Shalulia to Island 42, kept up his aloof image, and took her into Kamui Space.

  • Allen gave Zotero the Gold-Gold Fruit and startup money, telling him to master its power and amass wealth for their plan to kill the Celestial Dragons.
  • Allen called Shalulia and told her to come alone to Island 42 in the Sabaody Archipelago.
  • Yamato questioned Allen about the woman on the phone, then left angrily after he teased her into posing for him.
  • Shalulia hurried to Island 42 alone and found Allen waiting for her.
  • Allen reassured the tearful Shalulia that he did not find her repulsive, then used his ability to take her into Kamui Space.
