Genos froze for a moment, then said, "You don't need to invite him. My teacher is already a member of the Hero Association."

"You've even met him."

Tatsumaki blinked at Genos's words and asked without thinking, "Who?"

"The C-Class hero Caped Baldy is my teacher."

Genos checked the time. It was almost time to go bargain-hunting for groceries with his teacher. He smiled at Tatsumaki, turned, and left.

Tatsumaki stood there alone, utterly bewildered and questioning everything she knew!

In the world of Qin's Moon!

"Fusu, I leave the Great Qin Empire in your hands!"

Inside Xianyang Palace, Ying Zheng, clad in his dragon robe, handed the Heirloom Seal—the symbol of imperial authority—to Fusu, who knelt before him in tears, and said:

"Beware of retaliation from the Six Kingdoms Remnants."

"And don't put too much faith in the Confucian scholars. You can make use of them, but never take their words as absolute truth."

"As an emperor, you must draw on the strengths of many schools."

"Remember: keep firm control of the military!"

Fusu accepted the Heirloom Seal and said through his tears, "I will remember your teachings, Father."

"I will safeguard the Great Qin Empire for you."

"When you return, Father, I will hand the empire back to you!"

Ying Zheng felt no comfort at Fusu's words. Instead, a flicker of anger passed through his dark eyes.

Could Fusu, with such a soft heart, truly protect the Great Qin Empire?

Hopefully, taking charge of the empire would change him.

There was one piece of good news, though: it wasn't just the Great Qin Empire this time. The Hundred Schools of Thought, the Six Kingdoms Remnants, the Xiongnu... Nearly every faction had sent people to explore the Demon Slayer World.

So the Great Qin Empire wasn't alone.

The SCP Foundation had visited every faction in the world of Qin's Moon.

That was good news for the Great Qin Empire!

Ying Zheng wanted to give Fusu a few more instructions, but before he could speak, a synthesized voice rang through Xianyang Palace: "Ying Zheng, it's time. Come with us."

A beam of white light descended from above, enveloped Ying Zheng, and drew him into a silver-white warship!

Still kneeling, Fusu watched Ying Zheng fade from sight and silently swore that he would protect the Great Qin Empire for his father.

He would await his father's return!

After three days, the Mobile Task Force led by Ye finally completed its operation to hold the offenders accountable.

"Chairman!"

Back at the Foundation base, Ye briefly organized the data before reporting the results to Jiang Chen. "We carried out this operation across five worlds!"

"We apprehended 1.37 million people!"

"As instructed, we sorted them and sent them to different bases for confinement. I've also sent you the list in a private message."

"The Doctors have already begun using them to research the Flesh Heavenly Principle Orb."

"I believe they'll work out how it functions soon!"

Jiang Chen ended the call after hearing Ye's report. When he checked the list, he found quite a few familiar names!

Ying Zheng, Zhao Gao, the leader of the Mohists, Shirahoshi, Doflamingo, Danzo...

Jiang Chen merely smiled.

He set the list aside and went back to editing SCP-682, the Hard-to-Destroy Reptile. They had broken the rules, so he certainly wouldn't step in to help them.

Whether they survived was up to fate.

Meanwhile, in the Demon Castle, Morgana's surrender ceremony officially began!

To Hurt Her Where It Hurts: Forcing Morgana to Execute the Demons Who Invaded Earth with Her Own Hands!

(First update. Please subscribe! Your support keeps me writing. The next update should be around six-thirty.)

Inside the Demon Hall!

"My Queen, are you truly going to turn yourself in?"

Demon Ato stood before Morgana, sword in hand, and said furiously, "Just say the word, and I swear I'll defend you to the death."

"No matter how powerful the SCP Foundation is."

"I'll fight with everything I have..."

Demon Ato had followed Morgana across the universe for tens of thousands of years. He had fought in three wars between Angels and Demons. Fierce in battle and fearless of death, he was also the warrior most loyal to Morgana in all of Demon Civilization.

When he heard that Morgana intended to surrender to the SCP Foundation, he instinctively assumed the Foundation had threatened Demon Civilization...

And demanded that Morgana turn herself in.

Otherwise, how could someone like Morgana ever surrender?

The thought filled him with shame. If not for burdens like him, someone as powerful as Morgana could never be captured so easily, no matter how strong the SCP Foundation was...

And so he silently resolved that, the moment Morgana gave the order, he would fight the SCP Foundation even if it meant his death.

But Morgana cut him off before he could finish. "Ato, could you use your head for once?"

"Just a little?"

"Who could force the Demon Queen to do something she didn't want to do?"

Morgana paused, then continued, "I'm doing this of my own free will. It has nothing to do with any of you."

"There's no point explaining more."

"You wouldn't understand!"

"Remember, once I'm gone, help Xue Yi manage Demon Civilization. And keep an eye on Rose for me."

"Don't let anyone hurt her!"

Morgana had intended to turn herself in from the start.

She knew that, given what she had done, joining the SCP Foundation was out of the question. She wouldn't even be approved to enter Earth to study.

Demon Civilization itself might already be on the SCP Foundation's list of targets to eliminate.

After much thought, she had settled on surrendering.

That way, she could enter the SCP Foundation as a criminal. If she behaved well, perhaps they would make an exception and let her join.

And even if they didn't make an exception,

She could still learn new things while assisting with experiments.

Besides, once she had atoned for her crimes within the SCP Foundation, she could apply to enter Earth with a clean slate.

As for whether she might die while helping research Containment Objects,

She didn't care.

What mattered more to Morgana than death was whether she could perfect her theory of the Order of the Fallen.

After tens of thousands of years of life, Morgana's deepest obsession

Was proving that the Order of the Fallen was the universe's future.

The SCP Foundation's appearance had made her suspect there were flaws in her theory. But she firmly believed that if she could study within the Foundation...

She could perfect it.

Demon Ato remained reluctant, but after hearing Morgana's orders, he dropped to one knee and said respectfully, "I, Demon Ato, will remember your commands, Your Majesty."

"Get up!"

Morgana looked at Demon Ato. Even on one knee, he was still half a head taller than her, and he had remained loyal to her for tens of thousands of years. She reached out, patted his enormous head, and said softly:

"Stop kneeling at every opportunity!"

"We don't do that in Demon Civilization!"

For the first time, Demon Ato disobeyed Morgana. He stayed on his knee with his head bowed. He didn't want her to see his tears.

He knew she hated that sort of thing more than anything.

Before Morgana could say anything more to Ato, a Void Passage appeared out of thin air in the Demon Hall. Dr. X, dressed in a black suit...

Entered with a Mobile Task Force clad in silver-white armor, appearing before the assembled Demons.

The Demons in the hall tightened their grips on their weapons and glared at Dr. X. If not for Morgana's orders, they would already have swarmed him and the task force and hacked them to pieces.

Ignoring the Demon warriors, Dr. X walked slowly up to Morgana under the watchful eyes of the livestream audience. He drew a document bearing the Foundation's insignia from his coat and said:

"First, allow me to introduce myself. I am Dr. X, head of the SCP Foundation's External Affairs Department. I am here to announce the Foundation's decision regarding you, Demon Queen Morgana."

"Quite the formal affair," Morgana muttered.

Dr. X merely smiled and continued, "The SCP Foundation previously decided that, because you allowed Monster King Orochi to explore the Demon Slayer World during the Demon Slayer World incident,

"You would be confined at a base as D-Class personnel and assist the Doctors in researching the Flesh Heavenly Principle Orb."

"But since you turned yourself in,

"The Foundation has decided to approve an appropriate reduction in your punishment."

"Accordingly, Demon Queen Morgana's punishment has been changed to ten years of confinement at a base as D+ Class personnel!"

"Do you have any objections?"

Morgana's goal had been to enter the SCP Foundation as a criminal and learn through assisting with research.

Then she could perfect her theory of the Order of the Fallen.

Naturally, she had no objections!

She nodded at Dr. X. "None. Let's go."

"Not so fast."

Dr. X nodded and said, "There's one small matter to settle first. Three hundred and forty-seven Demons from Demon Civilization have killed people on Earth."

"Here's the list. Once you've executed all three hundred and forty-seven with your own hands, we can leave."

Morgana froze, then blurted out, "You've gone too far!"

"This is too much!"

If anyone else had made such a demand, Morgana would have torn them apart. But these people belonged to the SCP Foundation.

Who knew whether they had brought a Containment Object with them?

Even if they hadn't, the moment she attacked Dr. X, she suspected not only she but all of Demon Civilization would be crushed beneath the SCP Foundation's heel...

And reduced to dust!

As Morgana struggled with what to do, the Demons in the hall who had killed people on Earth saw her dilemma and spoke up:

"My Queen, don't worry about us! We'll take our own lives!"

"That's right! Serving under you has been the greatest honor of our lives!"

"Brothers! For the Queen. We'll go on ahead!"

"My Queen, we'll see you in the next life!"

"..."

They drew their weapons, preparing to kill themselves. The viewers watching the livestream were filled with mixed feelings.

They knew these Demons deserved to die.
