Background / History

Liu Mufei is Liu Qian’s aunt and the deputy director of the White Sea City Investigation Bureau. The Evil Organization sought her blood for its Life Vessel project, but she later revealed that the blood she gave Five of Diamonds was not her own 24 55 91.

She recruits Bai Yu from Ninghang City and works with its investigators against the Evil Organization’s pursuit of the Ice Curse Dragon. Although Bai Xuan initially refuses to join the Bureau, Liu gives him resources and agrees to a private arrangement separate from her official role 55 64 83 98. He later accepts a Bureau position on the condition that she conceal his identity and manage his assignments while he helps uncover infiltrators 117.

During the Da Qi Serpent operation, Bureau leadership places Lu Tai in command instead of Liu. She attributes the institution’s mistrust to her otherworldly origin, yet continues pursuing her own plan against the threat 133 134. She subsequently gains a role shaping White Sea City’s response to Anomalous Calamities while retaining her deputy-director title 153.

Appearance

In her usual humanlike form, Liu Mufei has a mature figure, wine-red hair and amber eyes. Her revealed alien form retains pale skin but has glowing antennae and gemlike scales near her collarbone 28 51 153.

Personality

Liu Mufei regularly teases Bai Xuan and Li Hongyou, but becomes direct when handling threats or directing operations 51 64 83. She favors recruitment, deception and carefully timed cooperation over open confrontation when those methods give her more room to act 55 109 150.

Her loyalty is not unconditional toward the Investigation Bureau. She honors her promise to remove Su Yue’s restrictions and stands beside Bai Xuan when Zhu Tian demands the World Tree 62 66 201.
