Youth and painful attachments

In her youth, Bibi Dong was exceptionally gifted but inexperienced. She fell for Yu Xiaogang and secretly gave him access to Spirit Hall’s Martial Soul texts. He later abandoned her rather than accept responsibility for the consequences of their relationship 54 84.

Qian Xunji imprisoned her in a spirit-tool cage. Her resentment toward him also damaged her relationship with their daughter, Qian Renxue: Bibi Dong later acknowledges that she wrongly blamed Qian Renxue for her father’s actions 85 94.

Taking Fang Fan as a disciple

After learning of Fang Fan’s Twin Martial Souls and Innate Full Soul Power, Bibi Dong offers him personal discipleship, Spirit Hall’s resources, the position of Saint Son, and eventual succession to the papacy. She also reveals her own struggle with Rakshasa Evil Thought, using their shared experience to explain why she can help him 1 3.

She gives him an eighty-thousand-year Head Spirit Bone and a luxurious courtyard, personally helping him settle in. Over the following years, she supports him through the violent episodes that accompany each full moon. His refusal to surrender to those impulses deepens her affection for him 4.

To obtain the Angel Meditation Method, she reluctantly writes a short letter to Qian Renxue in exchange for Qian Daoliu’s help. The method suppresses Fang Fan’s condition but does not eradicate it 5.

Zhu Zhuqing’s rescue and marriage

After the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan destroys a Spirit Hall branch building and challenges its Soul Master Coin distribution, Bibi Dong orders a covert attack. Following Fang Fan’s advice, she personally leads two thousand disguised soul masters; the clan’s soul masters are annihilated in under half an hour, while ordinary people are ordered spared. The Destruction God King explains that Asura had planted killing intent in her Spiritual Platform when she became the Rakshasa Successor. With Fang Fan supporting her, he painfully extracts and destroys both corrupting thoughts.
