Background and History

Qian Renxue is Bibi Dong’s daughter and Qian Daoliu’s granddaughter. Raised with her grandfather’s protection but little maternal affection, she spent nearly twenty years disguised as Heaven Dou’s crown prince, Xue Qinghe, for Spirit Hall. She cultivated the image of a gentle heir while building influence at court 5 44 86 124.

She rejected an early takeover that might expose her. When Emperor Xue Ye was dying, she obtained his seal on a prepared succession edict; Spirit Hall forces then secured the capital and crushed resistance. As Xue Qinghe, she took the throne and began her rule by dismissing corrupt ministers and promoting younger officials and Spirit Hall allies 57 87 88 90.

After returning to Spirit City, she shared her success first with Qian Daoliu. Her reports to Bibi Dong remained formal, reflecting their strained relationship, though they later began spending time together at family gatherings 91 93 94 123. Fang Fan subsequently helped her obtain an eighth Soul Ring and, through their compatible Martial Souls, break through a cultivation bottleneck. With his help and the Destruction God King’s intervention, she inherited the Angel Divine Position without the sacrifice normally required of Qian Daoliu 127 138 164 167.

As Xue Qinghe, Qian Renxue is courteous and mild; in private, she is sharper, proud and politically patient. She refuses to risk twenty years of work for a premature coup, yet acts decisively once the succession is within reach 55 57 87.

Her composure softens around Qian Daoliu, whose approval matters deeply to her. Fang Fan’s advice also leads her to question whether strength alone is a sufficient goal: she comes to value freedom, protecting others and sharing a long life with someone she trusts 91 126.
