Background and History

Tang San is Tang Hao’s son and Yu Xiaogang’s student. At Shrek Academy, he defeats Tai Long through technique rather than strength, then reveals his Clear Sky Hammer to Tai Tan. Recognizing Tang Hao’s son, Tai Tan pledges the Strength Clan to him 47 59.

At Skywater City, Tang San challenges Fang Fan while counting on Tang Hao, who is hiding nearby, to intervene if he faces mortal danger. He accepts a wager that would leave Xiao Wu with Fang Fan if he loses, without first asking her. After his defeat and the exposure of Xiao Wu’s identity as a transformed hundred-thousand-year soul beast, she pulls away from him. Tang Hao ultimately escapes the confrontation with Tang San 64 66 70.

Tang Hao later takes him to the Clear Sky Sect for hammer training. An Asura God King soul fragment hidden within Tang San awakens and teaches him to convert malice into strength. Tang San accepts and continues his training in Slaughter City, where his desire to reclaim Xiao Wu and defeat Fang Fan hardens into a campaign of revenge. He forms the Avengers Alliance with six companions who have their own grievances against Fang Fan and Spirit Hall 79 82 96.

After Fang Fan kills Tang Hao during Spirit Hall’s assault on the Clear Sky Sect, Tang San vows to avenge his father and trains under Tang Chen. Two years later, he faces Fang Fan in the Continental Advanced Soul Master Tournament. His Asura Slash is overcome, and he detonates all nine Soul Rings for a final attack. Fang Fan defeats him; the Asura God King intervenes to carry him away 135 136 143 148 150.

Tang San survives and seeks the Sea God Inheritance on Sea God Island. Bo Saixi’s sacrifice and the combined power of the Sea God and Asura God King eventually raise him to Late God King. He then leads his divinely empowered companions toward Spirit City, although his inability to sense Fang Fan on arrival unsettles him 161 183 185.
