Within days, Factory Director Deng and the others were so anxious that blisters broke out all over their mouths. They tried to sell the stock to people who had bought from them before, but those buyers had apparently heard that Lin Lianhua had been jailed and fined. None dared take the goods.
Factory Director Deng and the other leaders watched the goods pile up in the warehouse. The factory couldn't start production, and the workers were waiting for their wages. They felt like rats trapped in a bellows.
Liang Ying waited a good while before taking Lin Lu and the others to the garment factory. She gave the secretary their names directly. "We're the owners of Youyou Clothing. We'd like to speak with your factory director."
The secretary's expression shifted. She hurriedly agreed, poured each of them a glass of water, then rushed into the office to announce them.
