"Phew. I understand. Sorry I doubted everyone before."
After hearing Rover's words, Mo Bai sheepishly tucked his hands behind his back.
He had underestimated how much he meant to the others.
As Rover had just said, even if most of them had forgotten him,
at least what they had been doing all along was right.
"All right, now that the little matter's settled, shouldn't we discuss the main course?"
Tap, tap.
As she spoke, Losera tapped the table, drawing everyone's attention to her.

"You even made a PowerPoint?" Aemeath remarked.
She and Mo Bai felt a chill when they saw what was on the screen.
They were the only two students still enrolled among those present, so they knew classroom slides all too well.
As for Rover?

Seeing Aemeath's and Mo Bai's expressions, Losera frowned slightly, looking helpless.
Most students at Star Torch Academy craved knowledge, but if you tried to shut them in a classroom for structured lessons,
most of them would object.
Even a top student like Aemeath was no exception.
And Mo Bai?
Someone who usually skipped class worked hardest of all to catch up when finals came around.
For now, though, their focus was Dark Plains.
"So it's almost time for a fight to the death with Aleph-1?" Rover was the first to get to the point.
"Yes. The monster inside Aleph-1 is an unpredictable factor. It can already affect Void Matter itself. The longer we wait, the worse things will get."
Losera nodded, confirming
