In the cold, empty corridor, Charlotte stood in her long silk nightgown, feeling awkward.
The young sorceress always did her best to maintain her image as a "good big sister" in front of Aaron. She was naturally lively, optimistic, energetic, and passionately enthusiastic. With the added persona of a clingy big sister utterly devoted to her little brother, Charlotte believed Aaron must have thought very highly of her.
But now, she was embarrassed.
Seeing Aaron turn his gaze toward Eleanor, who hung suspended in midair, Charlotte felt embarrassed-and then even more embarrassed.
