Inside, surrounded by a faint fragrance of incense and holding the enchanting young lady in his arms, Aaron picked up the parchment on the table and quietly discussed his "grand plan" with Charlotte.
King of Hunters!
As its name suggested, King of Hunters was short for the "Hunt the Princess Plan," a top-secret operation intended to let Aaron thoroughly win over Alusair and claim both her body and her heart.
It was worth mentioning that Aaron had not proposed this plan. Charlotte had.
Yes, that was right. Aaron had not been the one to suggest it; the young lady had. After Aaron had met Alusair a few times, Charlotte had detected his affection for her through the thoughts they shared during soul synchronization.
And the young lady's response had been-All right, let your big sister help you win Alice over completely!
Her reasoning was simple. She was practically the Princess Regent's only friend and sole confidante. They were so close that they often shared a bed, and had once sworn to remain "friends for life" and "protect Cormyr together."
Then Aaron had appeared.
To Charlotte, her little brother's arrival had brought another ray of light into her life. She now had someone who knew her, understood her, and loved her.
But that also meant the once-unbreakable bond between Charlotte and Alusair had begun to loosen.
And so our brilliant young lady had devised this plan-the King of Hunters plan.
