Aaron plummeted, wind roaring around him as sharp currents lashed his face.
He was in terrible shape. Under Thousand Illusions, his Bloodthirster double had been cut in half, his Lord of Change double had had its skull pierced, and his not-yet-fully-formed Great Unclean One had self-destructed. All he had left now was his Keeper of Secrets avatar.
Likewise, of the Chaos Gods' powers within him, only Slaanesh's Power remained usable. The other three had fallen dormant from overload.
In desperation, Aaron spread his arms and gathered both the injured Nastya and the young lady, whose magic had been thrown into chaos by a warpstone bullet, into his embrace. He prepared to take the impact of landing with his own body.
Whoooosh~~~~
The fierce wind hurt Aaron's ears, and he fell faster and faster. Following the wind and his senses, he braced himself for the landing and prayed he wouldn't break his spine. Just then, a gentle force caught them.
The force came and went just as quickly. In a brief second, it dispelled the momentum of their fall, and Aaron, Nastya, and Charlotte landed, stirring up clouds of dust.
Aaron dispelled Slaanesh's Thousand Illusions. With only his Keeper of Secrets double remaining, he immediately felt empty inside. Just as when he had first begun adventuring, only Slaanesh's Power remained within him to keep him company.
Everything around them was pitch-black. Aaron tentatively cast Light and discovered that they had probably fallen deep underground.
