The army was not large, numbering only a little over eight hundred. Ordinarily, any plan to reclaim Selûne's lost former holy city of Myth Lharast in Amn with so few troops would have been a joke. At first, everyone in Amn thought so too.
But once Eleanor's army actually arrived in Amn, no one could laugh anymore.
Over eight hundred soldiers, every last one in superheavy armor, armed from toe to teeth in Chaos steel. Their primary weapons were enchanted warhammers or battleaxes forged from serpent-pattern steel, with standardized enchanted scimitars as sidearms. Each carried a broad-bladed firelock bearing Mama Selûne's holy symbol, ready to fire explosive rounds at any moment. A gleaming broad blade mounted at the muzzle made the weapon suitable for both ranged and close combat.
Every ten-man squad had one warrior equipped with a rocket launcher specifically for dealing with stubborn enemies and buildings. Every hundred-man company had a Chaos Hellcannon, already loaded with ample demonic essence.
Beyond all that, the most eye-catching sight was the little Chaos train following the army.
