Arc 9The Fire of Suzail

Aaron and Alusair uncovered Mannacorn Anaheim’s coup as devils and foreign forces descended on Suzail, then defeated the conspirators and secured Alusair’s rule. Aaron survived his battle with Mannacorn, formed a pact with Aegir, and left to recover as Iyachtu Xvim escaped his prison.

  • Aaron recruited the Changeling to infiltrate the Blackhook Gang, learned the Zhentarim planned to bring an army into Suzail, and discovered Mannacorn was preparing a coup.

After surviving the coup, Aaron secured his new fief, formed the Court of the Covenant, and strengthened his ties with allies and Lady Mysty Tanshul. The story left him traveling toward Myth Drannor to investigate Disma’s links to the Zhentarim and reports of strange elves in Cormanthor Forest.

  • Xvim sensed the terrifying power behind Aaron, named Aaron and Cyric his enemies, and announced his return to Bane’s loyalists and the Zhentarim.
  • Elminster warned Aaron against arrogance and unchecked ambition, gave him five books, and entrusted his granddaughter and Cormyr’s future to him.

Arc 11Be'lakor's Fall

Aaron entered Myth Drannor to find water for Annomyn and confronted Be'lakor, defeating him with help from Xvim, Annomyn, and Buer. After returning to the Sunset Lands with Buer, Aaron began planning an alliance with Selûne and resumed governing his growing territory.

  • Aaron followed Sandra into Myth Drannor, fought through its corrupted ruins, and defeated Be'lakor at Sune's temple with Belsa's help and Moradin's divine wrath.
  • Aaron collected water for Annomyn, but Be'lakor possessed him and ambushed Aaron at Moander's Road while trying to absorb the power sealing Buer.
  • Aaron and Xvim fought Be'lakor as Annomyn resisted possession, and Aaron used Be'lakor's true name to destroy him with Demon Rain and Buer's help.
