That Crazy Bitch Mei Terumi had actually come straight to his door!

"Cangyue, do you know the Mizukage? I hear she's a beautiful kunoichi." Kurenai Yuhi stared at Cangyue in puzzlement.

She had never met Mei Terumi. She had only heard about her, since Kirigakure usually kept its borders closed.

After a moment's thought, Aogetsu Hyuga raised a finger and said with a smile, "You could say we're intimately acquainted."

Intimately acquainted wasn't wrong.

To be precise, they'd gotten acquainted in bed.

After all, he'd slept with Mei Terumi just two days ago.

"I hear Mei Terumi is the hero who saved Kirigakure and the only ninja in the Shinobi World with Dual Kekkei Genkai," Kurenai Yuhi said. "I'm curious what man managed to win the heart of a kunoichi like her."

She really was curious.

After all, rumor said Mei Terumi was immensely powerful. She had brought an end to the Bloody Mist through sheer force of will and changed Kirigakure almost single-handedly.

She was a Kage Level powerhouse through and through!

What man could possibly be capable of winning the heart of such a formidable kunoichi?

She wanted to know.

She wanted the gossip.

"Achoo." Aogetsu Hyuga sneezed and rubbed his nose, looking uneasy.

Boyfriend?

Kirigakure really knows how to make things up!

The misunderstandings people dream up are terrifying.

"It's been cold lately. Be careful you don't catch a chill." Kurenai Yuhi picked up a blanket and draped it over Cangyue.

At the sight, the corner of Asuma Sarutobi's mouth twitched. He took a hard drag on his cigarette and breathed out a cloud of pale smoke.

Was he smoking a cigarette?

He was smoking away his loneliness!

"Cangyue, have you heard anything? I'm curious who Mei Terumi's boyfriend is. He must be some Jonin from Kirigakure, right?" Kurenai Yuhi looked at him, her fair face bright with curiosity.

Being in love, huh?

That must be nice.

Aogetsu Hyuga looked at Kurenai Yuhi's innocent, adorable expression. A flicker of panic crossed his eyes, and he stood with a light laugh. "Who knows? I've got something to do, so I'll head out."

Sakura Haruno knelt on the soft grass with her legs tucked to one side, looking every bit the well-behaved student. "Cangyue-sensei said it's important. Let's wait a little longer."

Naruto Uzumaki clasped his hands behind his head and scoffed. "Quit acting so smug. You came in third."

"You're asking for it!" Sasuke Uchiha's expression turned cold. He needed a chance to prove to everyone that he, Sasuke, was the strongest Genin on Team 7!

"Third place and still acting smug," Naruto Uzumaki taunted. He had been the first on Team 7 to complete the training Cangyue had assigned, and he could brag about that for a year.

Sasuke Uchiha's face darkened, and his black eyes turned into Sharingan. He was about to stride over and grab Naruto by the collar when—

Bzzzt. Azure lightning flashed, and Aogetsu Hyuga appeared out of thin air before Team 7.

"You three get along just fine even when I'm not here." Aogetsu Hyuga ate a Dango as he casually surveyed Team 7.

Those little brats.

Looks like they've gotten stronger again.

Too bad the mission progress is stuck.

All that's missing now is that brat Sakura's Strength of a Hundred Power.

Tsunade was even crazier than Mei Terumi. Every time they met, she came at him swinging.

Sasuke Uchiha took his Application Form and gave a snort. "Hmph. Just what I'd expect from Cangyue-sensei."

"Huh? Huh?" Naruto Uzumaki froze. He looked from Sasuke Uchiha to Sakura Haruno, his foxlike face utterly baffled.

What's going on?

We agreed to call Cangyue-sensei out. Why are those two awkwardly sucking up to him instead?

Aogetsu Hyuga patted Sasuke and Sakura on the head and nodded in satisfaction. "Good. As long as you appreciate the trouble I went to."

He'd only made an offhand joke, but those two brats had actually started showering him with awkward praise.

Those little brats want something from me, don't they?

"Cangyue-sensei, since you're a Jonin... you must know what's on the exam, right?" Sakura Haruno clutched her Application Form and gazed up at Aogetsu Hyuga, trying to look cute.

Kurenai Yuhi had told her yesterday that if even one member of a team failed the Chunin Ninja Exams, the whole team would be eliminated immediately.

And the first exam was a written test!

She was confident about answering questions, but what if...
