Testing at Headquarters

As White Feather descended toward the Headquarters landing pad, a large crowd had already gathered around it.

After all, there were only a handful of White Feather aircraft. Most of the time, people saw them ferrying special officers around.

But today's flight seemed different.

There weren't many special officers qualified to ride White Feather, and whenever one of them traveled, people usually noticed.

Today, everyone was quite certain those officers were either safely at Headquarters or away on assignments they couldn't return from anytime soon.

So if it wasn't a special officer, who was aboard?

The Magical Girls in the crowd chattered among themselves, though they had the good sense not to get too close. They formed a loose circle at a distance and watched curiously.

Inside the cabin.

"At the Headquarters complex, everyone generally stays transformed," Shen Yin explained to the three of them as she rolled her neck.

"This is the hub for Magical Girls across the country, so there are quite a lot of us here. We're easier to tell apart in our transformed forms, and getting around is more convenient...
