He paused for a moment, then looked up at Kuta and asked, "How did you know?"
"Never mind how I know for now. I know that one member of the Rumbar Pirates has been trapped in a stretch of sea all this time and still hasn't gotten out."
"Who?"
"A musician with an afro."
"That's right. They did have a musician with an afro aboard their ship. His name was Brook."
Crocus looked at Kuta, a flicker of excitement in his eyes.
"If you know where Brook is, could you please tell me which stretch of sea he's in?"
Kuta looked at Crocus helplessly. "Old man, even if I told you, Laboon couldn't get there!"
"I'm telling you this so you can find a way to give Laboon some hope. Maybe I'll pass through that area, rescue that pirate named Brook, and tell him Laboon has been waiting for him all along!"
"Oh... is that so?"
Crocus smiled at Kuta, then bent forward in a bow.
"Then please help Laboon and Brook fulfill their promise!"
"Hey! Old man, I haven't agreed to anything!"
Kuta took a step back, waving his hands repeatedly as he looked at Crocus.
Crocus straightened and stared at Kuta solemnly. "No, you will."
"Hahahaha..."
With that, he burst out laughing.
He was in a wonderful mood now. Judging by Kuta's attitude, he would definitely help Laboon. Otherwise, he wouldn't have bothered telling him so much.
Watching Crocus laugh without stopping, Kuta stood a short distance away, a smile appearing on his face as well.
He really would go and tell Brook about Laboon.
