Pirates: Invincible from the Start

"I didn't expect them so soon. Looks like the pirates and bounty hunters on Bass Island were useless. They didn't slow them down at all."

Judging by the time, Silver Hair and his crew had set out at dawn. They would be arriving right about now.

To deal with Silver Hair, their Cipher Pol Aigis Zero squad had assembled in full for the first time in years.

Three years ago, only three of them had acted against Bass Bada. Corus hadn't even come.

There were four main members of the squad.

One member was Black Gun, the man who had ambushed and gravely wounded Bada three years ago.

The other two were Sada and Kuru.

Both were masters of hand-to-hand combat, tall and powerfully built, and dressed in black-and-white suits.

Judging by their matching outfits, Black Gun was probably wearing a black-and-white suit under his robe too.

Out on the sea, Kuta and the others stood on deck, looking toward the shoreline and the two distinct groups gathered there.

The ones in white uniforms had to be Marines, while those in black were probably Cipher Pol.

"Kale kale!"

"The Marines and the World Government have put up quite a defense!"

Indigo smiled faintly as he looked ahead. "Looks like they're here specifically to wait for us."

"They reacted quickly, all right."

Nebulae swirled in Kuta's eyes, and a red light flashed through them. "Looks like the Marines moved out overnight."

"In other words, these people must have notified the Marines the moment Bada lifted his power."
