Watching Roger's Execution at the Start

"Hahahaha! It's me, Garp!"

Garp's booming voice came from the Den Den Mushi.

"Old man Garp? What do you want?"

"Sengoku told me you went back to the East Blue, kid?"

"Yep!"

"Perfect. Stop by Foosha Village and look after my grandson! I'm busy in the New World, and I hear Luffy's gotten into trouble again. Give him a good beating for me!"

"Luffy? Don't you mean Ace?"

Atlas feigned confusion.

"Hahaha! They're both my grandsons. You can check on them both."

Garp was as shameless as ever. Atlas had asked one question, and her workload had doubled.

"Sure! Leave it to me!"

Atlas agreed at once. She had already planned to steer Ace away from the pirate life. While she was at it, she could see whether anything could be done about Luffy's brain. Garp had probably knocked something loose when he was little.

Emergency Signal

Early the next morning.

A standard Marine warship bearing Loguetown's insignia slowly left the harbor.

Randall watched the warship recede and shook his head with a rueful smile.

He had thought highly of Atlas from the start, but he had never expected her to grow so quickly. It seemed he had underestimated her potential.
